"I'm shocked you ask. A typical human or vampire would shun me. They believe I should die because I am a cursed half-vampire.", Cielo said lowering his head, "I was almost killed by my own father who was a vampire. He killed my own mother in front of my eyes as I was just a young teenage child. He found out about me and wanted me gone. He didn't want to be ridiculed by his clan for having a half-vampire. After my mother's death I mindlessly stabbed my father over and over with a stake. I can't take it whenever I see a vampire because they remind me of him." Cielo was now sobbing.

"I've been in the wilds for nearly 9 years, when i left i was but a child. I don't know much about the world." Oirendial found it hard to feel sorry for the man, even though his story was truely sad. She still saw him as a threat. Perhaps after they fight together she would change her mind. For now she found herself giving by dropping hostility. "I"m sorry to hear that. On a different, perhaps not so much a hapier note, was that you singing earlier?"

Melda just remained quiet for now, as the man and woman conversed. If she was addressed in some way, she would respond, but this was not the time for her to say anything. Besides, she was too busy dealing with her own, rather disturbed thoughts, random urges that came and go, one much different from the other. She crossed her hands behind her back, simply keeping a smile on her face.

Cielo smiled and replied, "Yes. It was me. I sung about this woman I had once loved. She had died of old age, and I seem to have outlived her. I sometimes feel like an elf for that I can outlive almost everything."

"I don't know about half vampires, but vampires are immortal, no? but i digress. where did you learn to sing like that?" Although she didn't like to admit it, his singing had matched that of her mother in the ability to convey feeling. manipulate emotions. A dangerous gift, but a beautiful one as well. Somehow it fit him very well.

"Some people say I have my mother's voice when I sing.", Cielo said as he shrugged.

"Your mother must've been a wonderfull woman." Against her will, Oirendial felt connected to him. their stories were alike. both lost their parents due to betrayal in their family. Different details, but the grand picture was the same.

Wyatt makes his way towards the shoreline the sea breeze made him think of his home and his mother.
Wyatt had grown up in a small harbour city,he had occasionally worked down on the docks doing odd jobs while he was young. this was actually where he 1st saw kaelmorne before he became the pirate lord kaelmorne had not changed since that day he still had this intimidating presence about him, Wyatt had been surprised to find out he was not this captain back then. he never shared the story with kaelmorne, he doubted kaelmore would even remember some random dirty child working on the docks of a town no one cared about.

Cielo decided it was time to open up his journal. He had recorded down things of what people have said in the past, their words and oaths and statements said to him under his service with the slayers. It was kind of dusty and Cielo thought it would be appropriate to visit his past, which wasn't too long ago, with his time at the tavern bar in blackwater. He thought it was funny how people mistaken him for charles the crab fisherman who was three times his size...in width. He had fallen in love with a couple of women in blackwater but never established a relationship because humans have quick relations as Cielo admired the elven people on how they persist with their's for years on end. Cielo did write down on how he learned elven, which was a silly story that he and Drugo got into. They travelled into the forest and accidentally encountered a tribe there. There was a lot of stories, but Cielo decided to skim through it quickly before nostalgia hits him hard. He closed the journal and made a little gasp. It hit him slightly hard, the nostalgia that is. He gave a little tear and smiled. He then hid his face and started fiddling with his hands.
