"My condolences...I hope they were not in pain when it...happened." Melda knew it was a bad idea to bring up the topic of Oirendial's parents' death, so she decided against asking for what happened exactly. Perhaps Oirendial would speak to her about these events at a later date, when the time is more appropriate. She decided to change the subject a bit, to ease off the situation. "You've grown." Melda simply stated, since it was a fact after all. She only slightly remembered the image of a young blind girl that was Oirendial.

"i was 16 back then, just a child, so yea I've grown, but mostly my mind has grown. Living in he wild kind of forces you to grow up. I had to flee my home when my parents were killed. Been living in a forest to the southwest of here ever since then. But after a travel away from my forest and meeting up with the pirates, i found that Valencia was now in my forest, another home lost. And thats why i now travel with the pirates."

"I see...I guess sometimes life takes a drastic turn. Though you have grown to be strong, that I can tell." At the mention of 'Valencia', Melda's ears perked. She blinked her eyes once and then remembered hearing about this kingdom. "I see. So the pirates are not as bad as everyone claims that they are. Since, you know, they are pirates." Melda looked around her briefly, raising a brow."When one hears the word 'pirates', they expect bloodthirsty pillagers, but you all seem like a fine lot to me. If a bit of a strange group, but who is not strange in this world of ours, really?"

Cielo got up and his cape fluttered. He then walked and tried to do a large perimeter walk. While he was walking in Melda's direction he smiled at her, revealing his two tiny fangs. His eyes, however, shined great with the bright blue. He then walked off, though when one person blinked then he was gone. He walked the perimeter with his hands behind his back. He was trying to take in the scenery. Buildings here, buildings there, buildings everywhere, and here we are outside of freeport in the forest. Cielo took out his holy symbol and started whispering out words from his holy book. He wasn't too religious, but he liked to remain as one. He then took out his rum and cursed it. He started to drink out of it, a twisted cursed rum that could kill his party, but to him it heals him and makes him feel better. Cielo, however, concealed his rum so nobody would find it or drink it. Cielo then sang a sad song about a woman he once loved.

"Pirates is but name. A tame wolf won't kill you, so should you fear it for it's name? What have you heard of the pirates then? And how do you know Valencia? Don't try to hide it, I've learned to se details, small changes, even those in a person. A leaf falling in the wind might be the prelude of a panther jumping down to kill you after all."

"I have nothing to hide, really. It's true what you say, about pirates being just a name. Though I have heard terrible tales of pirates ambushing ships in the open sea, taking slaves along with them to sell, mindlessly claiming what they wish without reason. As for Valencia, I know of a family there, that once cattered to my knowledge needs. They were not to be triffled with, and their king is supposedly a powerful magician of a sort." Melda smiled back at Cielo as he walked by, blinking in surprise as she looked at his fangs, but made no comment.

"I've yet to travel with them to open seas, so i can neither deny nor confirm that. Although i don't think Kaelmourn is one to do suchh things."
(OOC: i moved this here since you just saw him walk by) Oirendial's ears were the ones to perk up at this point since she heard someone sing behind her, from the direction Cielo walked towards. She thought to ask hi about it later. Song had always touched her deeply. And the sadness in this one nearly brought tears to her eyes, even though she could not hear the words.
"Valencia seems to have apeared overnight? What do you know about it?" Oirendial had been curious about the land since it had setles in her forest? since then she hadn't believed she had been away long enough for an entire city to be built.

"Rumours abound about the powerful magic it's king can use. Some say that he rivals the most powerful wizards with his power. But it's all just rumours. Maybe he somehow has the power to teleport an entire city from a different land to this one?" Melda replied to Oirendial's question. "Maybe he somehow concealed the city for some time, making everyone believe that the forest was empty. I thought about trying to meet him one day, since he seems to have much knowledge on the topic of magic." Melda then paused for a moment to think about this idea. "Perhaps not though. I doubt I will be going that way after all, especially if we end up travelling together, yes?" She smiled.

"I don't know where we are heading, i think to the cove with what we salvaged from freeport, after that i don't know. But talking to a king about simple magic doesn't seem like a good idea to me, he's probably to busy with other stuff." Oirendial wonedred what the king of Valencia would be able to do. He didn't conceal the city, she had been there not too long before that, so even if it was invisible or hidden she would've felt the walls. If he was truely powerfull enough to move a city through dimension, thay cod be in serieous trouble if thery ever clashed with him.
"What do you think Of Cielo?"

"This man over there? He seems charismatic, at a first glance. He sings, at least. I wish I could sing as well. Perhaps he is some sort of a bard? I couldn't know." Melda replied, shrugging her shoulders as she was unsure what to think of Cielo. She didn't see him or hear him say much. "What do you think of him? I saw some strange fangs he possessed. I wonder what kind of mutation or some such that is."

"I know he drinks, i know he sings and i know he says he's a pirate. But because of the way and the time he barged in, i cna't say what i feel of him yet. i'll need to talk to him, get to know him a bit." With a slight smile she added "Just like you" Returning to a more serious tone "Those fangs you spoke of, i've not seen them yet. We're they long?"

Melda returned the smile with a nod. She then blinked her eyes once in surprise when the question about the fangs came up."Oh, not that long. Small. Piercing. Why? Do you think it's something dangerous? I myself have never encountered anything like it."

"Ive only heard stories, but the only human with fangs i know of are vampires. Bloodthirsy creatures who leave nothing but death in their wake. But if that was the case Kaelmourn wouldn't allow him with the pirates so there has to be something different about him. Perhaps he's like you and me, a child of two worlds. let's hope I'm wrong about what he is." Oirendial couldn't hide being worried

Melda looked at Oirendial, then at Celio, then back Oirendial and then back at Celio. She shrugged and chuckled briefly before shaking her head."But he would have problems with the sun, no? Vampires don't travel far from their domains either. That's why such a thought didn't even cross my mind." And it's true. Why would a vampire leave it's domain and move about in the day? It was something Melda found funny.

" Like i said, i've only hears stories. And if he's only half, maybe he can move around in the daylight. But Kaelmourn, and as far as we know Drugo seem to trust him so for now it's benefit of the doubt i guess. Just keep your eyes open."
(OOC: i don't think we can see him right now, he's walking in a larger circle around the camp i believe, so he would be in the forest. or thats how i'm seeing it at any rate)
