Melda frowned as she heard the ill-fate that found Drugo, the warrior. She shook her head in disappointment before replying to both the man and the mourning woman."Not everyone meets the end of life they wish to find. There is however hope for him in the afterlife. Perhaps he will find peace where he is headed. Maybe what he was looking for in life, he will find in death." Melda tried to sound as reassuring as she could, taking a good look at the both of them, nodding to each one in turn.

Cielo then kind of smiled saying, "Drugo has always told me that he will aspire to become a great warrior in both life and death." Seeing that everything was slightly cooled off Cielo slid into the darkness of the forest. He sat down by the tree and closed his eyes. He remembered a lot of what Drugo told him about the past...about the underdark. Drugo had also told him about his joy and fun in being in the service of the black water. Cielo wasn't a full member pirate and had worked with other factions within the cove. He used to work at the tavern where he always had given Drugo his favorite blackwater rum. There the two became great friends (OOC: Like Frodo and Sam-wise from LoTR).

This sentiment gave Wyatt a bit of comfort,he pictured drugo having great battles in the after life "I hope they have enough rum for him on the other side,he always liked to drink after a battle" Wyatt said smiling a little.
(OOC: a bromance got it lol)

"I am sorry for intruding like this, anyway. I guess I should have asked first and spoke later. I am Melda. A travelling sorceress." Said Melda as it appeared that the people began calming down. "If you want, I can help you tend to your friend's body. It's the least I can do after causing such a disturbance."

"We should wait till Kaelmourn returns, he was closest to him, he should decide how and where he'll be buried" Oirendial said, still with a trembling voice, but calmer and no longer crying

Melda nodded at the elven woman and then stood up, no longer intruding upon her private space. She dusted off her clothing before looking towards the general direction the hooded man went. She narrowed her eyes and then returned her attention to the group. "Perhaps someone should go bring him here. I'd go myself, but I am a stranger by all accounts."

"No, leave him. He needs time alone. When he went off alone after suffering defeat, i ran after him, only to have an awkward conversation about nothing, trying not to say anything wrong. This is considerably worse. Leave him with his toughts. He needs to give Drugo's death a place in the world." Oirendial thougth this was how Kaelmourn felt since this was how she felt. Drugo's death was so unexpected and sudden that it didn't fit. She needed to fit it into the world, make it make sense.

"Very well..." Melda said and looked around nervously, feeling slightly awkward as she was unsure what to say. She cleared her throat and then tried to keep the people from returning to their depressed state, which she thought they would if she remained silent. "Would I be rude if I ask what it was you were doing here in the first place? Judging by the look of things, you people must have been in a fight."

"We came from freeport, salvaged it since it's ruler left. After that, we met some beasts, one of which almost killed Drugo by draggin him under in the ocean. Now we're hunting for food as much we can to have food for the travel back to blackwater cove. The ship is on it's way." Oirendial said with a sad voice. she appreciated the woman tring to keep her mind of the awfull things that had hapened. So she went with it to show that she apreciated it. "What kind of magic do you practice?"

"Ah...So that was what all the fuss was about in freeport..." Said Melda thoughtfuly as she realized that these people were actually pretty capable of handling themselves. She kept the thought in the back of her head and continued."I have a few rations I could share if you are hungry, but that's pretty much it." Once the question about magic came up, she looked up and away, not really sure how to properly answer the question. "I am...uh, not that good yet. I know only a few arcane spells from different schools, though they are potent enough. I do not need a spellbook or the such, I have them memorized. Besides, I was born with my talent, I didn't work that hard for it."

"I'm quite versed in healing magic, but offensive, I'm pretty worthless. That's one of the reasons Drugo nearly died to the octopus. I remember the time i was learning magic, without any talent by the way, it's hard, but just don't give up and it'll come to you." Oirendial had always envied those with magicl talent. She had worked vigorously and not without peril to gain her skills. She couldn't wait to see if talented magic was any different from her own.

"I am trying to gather more knowledge on how to work with my magic, yes. However I have not made much progress yet. It's the reason I travel the world. Knowledge is one of the greatest powers out there, and when you have lots of it, things always turn for the better for you. Or that is what I think. Can't say if it's real or not." Melda smiled, her plan to change the subject and focus the attention of at least one person to something less sad had worked. She occasionally glanced towards the area the hooded man headed for, trying to see if he would return at some point. Can't leave a dead body out for too long, or it will attract wild beasts or carrion birds.

"Kealmourn knows what he's doing, don't look so worried. i though you wanted to cheer us up, looking worried won't help." Oirendial managed to put a slight smile on her face, although it wasn't filled with joy and only lsted about a second. "He knows the body needs to be taken care of, as do we, he'll be back soon enough." oirendial hoped she hadn't just lied. At this point she wasn't sure how long Kaelmourn would stay away, but she had to believe he'd be back soon. She couldn't lose him as wel

Cielo started to feel better after being in the forest for awhile and headed back slowly. He felt so lost. He could feel the chills run through him. It made him feel awkward. He fell to his knees and clenched the dirt. He leaned back spreading his arms out making an angry roar, a yell of anguish. When he was done he then got up and kept walking. He quickly took a sip of his rum and then put it away. The rum was warm around his throat and made him feel very comfortable. He got himself together and approached the camp. To the closest tree nearby he then walked to it and sat down. There he tried to cross his legs and meditate.

"Oh...Sorry about that, just attention being split sometimes. I tend to have a hard time focusing on one thing." Said Melda as she shook her head once, trying to focus back on the matter at hand. It's hard to control different urges that invade her mind oh so frequently. "I am not that much of a warrior, but I could help you with fighting the wild animals you wish to hunt for food. I could always use the experience and exercise, and I can handle my own weight when travelling, so I won't be a burden. That is, of course, if you need extra hands." Melda then shifted in place, as she thought she was being too pushy, fact being that she just met those people. Still, in her mind it was the right thing to do, or at least say.
