"Will do." Said Melda before returning her attention back to Oirendial. "Wait...Do you hear that?" She said while looking around her, though it was obvious that nothing was there."Huh..." She exclaimed before returning her attention to Oirendial."Must have been my imagination. So you said you know of magic. How did you come to be skilled in the art? If you want to share the story, that is." Melda was curious to see how one not initially gifted in magic would become a worthy practicioner of it. An urge she could not resist was asking this, so she could learn more.

"I thought myself, with some help. I am a witch of the forest. I wil use my magic for all who need it, for that is how i first met this traveling party, but how i learned it is for me alone. It'll suffise to say, it took me a lot of time, a lot of sacrifice and endurance." Oirendial wondered if she had said to much, she didn't wan anyone to know her ability te remember and learn spells did not come from any book, but from her familiar.

"Well that's good for you. Your hard work paid off, which makes one feel nice when it happens, yes?" Melda smiled. "Unlike you, I have had an affinity towards magic and the ability to use magical items from a young age. It shames me to admit that I have not tried at all to make myself better through practice, only through research. Which...Has not yielded many results, but it's the journey that matters. Or that is what I like to say to myself." Melda said jokingly before looking down at her palms, a distracting thought going through her head, one hand rubbing the other immediately. She blinked, shrugged her shoulders and returned her attention to Oirendial.

(I'm still up in th tree, talking downwards to you)
"You seem distracted so often. Ask what you want to ask, it might take my mind of things, and if not, it might help me find truths in myself. do not be ashamed for your curiosity. "Another thing her mother used to say. Though her fahter would usually follow it up with but be ashamed of your stupidity forevermore. This occured usually after she had ran out again, trying to explore the city. But being blind, she would always either get hurt, get robed or get lost.

"Oh, uh...No, it's nothing. I just have a problem focusing. I get different urges to do things sometimes. Seemingly at random. It's one of the things I have been doing research on. Trying to find out what is wrong with me." Melda said, shifting in place and then leaning against the tree Oirendial was resting atop. She looked around her and sighed before continuing. "I have no idea why it happens...It just does."

Oirendial jumped down from her resting place. "You've had this always? sicne as long as you can remember?" She was intrigued by this affliction. "have you been to healers before? I'm not the best healer in the land, but if it is a poison of sorts, or maybe a sickness, i might be able to heal you"

"I have had this always, yes. It's been here ever since I can remember. Even when I was a child. It kind of makes me behave differently on occasions. I have seen healers, charlatans, wizards and sorcerers. Even clerics and druids. None have found something wrong with me, they say it's all in my head. Though I doubt that. I am a pretty reasonable person, or at least I like to think so." Melda said as she took a step back to give Oirendial space to land on the ground without crowding her.

"Seeing as how they had nothing to lose, Oirendial put her hand on Melda's shoulder and released her healing magic. "feel any different?" She asked wondering. However unlikely, it was not impossible she was healed, magic did work in mysterious ways sometimes.

Melda blinked her eyes once and then looked down at her body and hands, shrugging her shoulders. She waits for a few seconds before being bombarded by random urges that flooded her mind once again. She shook off her urges by shaking her head left and right once, then returned her attention to Oirendial, sighing. "Sadly, that didn't work. I guess it might just be something wrong with my head. Or maybe it's some kind of curse one has yet to understand?"

" I didn't really expect it to work. But healing can't hurt, can it." Oirendial decided to study her and see if ther ws somekind of trigger to these .. event... in lack of a better word. "Don't these distractions cause problems with your magic? Or does you magic not require focus?"

Before Cielo came back to the camp, he quickly dumped out the cursed rum which scarred he ground, broke the bottle, and threw it off into the distance. He walked merrily, but frowned every time his eyes crossed over Drugo's body. He then stopped next to the tree the two women were at and decided to chat with them for a short while. He sat down and said, "I see you two seem to be a bit chatty today. You wouldn't mind if I joined in?"

"My magic does tend to be a bit hard for me...Lack of resolve sometimes, but I am used to it." She then turned her attention to Cielo and nodded."I don't mind. Join in."

Cielo started to laugh really loud yet at the same time very gently. "If I told you, you wouldn't believe me.", he said sarcastically to Oirendial, "I am a dhampir. A half-vampire, but I will tell you that I am more human than I am vampire. My heart beats, I have warm blood, but I carry the curse of my forefather." The last thing he said with sad emotion. He then started to open his mouth showing his little fangs, "These things here are harmless. The only thing I use them for are nibbling on apples. However, I do my part and help get rid of these bloodsucking things. People call me a vampire slayer, but I see myself more as a kin-slayer"

"Though i've never heard of it before, i expected you to be a half-vampire as soon as i herd you had fangs. I couldn't really see another explanation for your ability to walk in the day. So you see yourself as a kin-slayer. What has your kin done to you then, if i may be so free."
