Cielo slowly opened his eyes and relaxed. He felt that this was a good time to pull out his little journal. It was a very personal journal, though most likely the same stuff written in every single one he has written. His deep colorful blue eyes then looked over to Oirendial and he said in elven, "You must learn to trust. As I have with Drugo, I trained him on some cool techniques. I remember the time I taught him the 360 spin slash. He couldn't kick himself high enough so he would always come late when he went through with his attack." He then scribbled down some stuff, secretly drawing what everyone there looked like. As an inquisitor, it is his job to keep tabs on people. "He was a brave man, though there were limits to his bravery as well as his honor.", Cielo finished at the same time he was done drawing. He then closed his journal and started fiddling with his hands to pass the time.

Wyatt notices Cielo scribbling in his journal and constantly looking up from his book at the party
"It's rare for me to meet someone who has taken up drawing as a hobby, make sure you get my good side" Wyatt said with a half smile.

"Again, we can't decide without Kaelmourn, he's the leader of the pirates and of this party. He decided wehter to let you come or not, but i don't think he'll have any objections." Oirendial walked to the edge of the encampment (other side then cielo), climbed up into a tree and rested her head against the tree. So much had happened today. So much changed

"Oh...Of course." Melda said and nodded at the woman as she watched her walk away. "Rest....uh...well." Melda quietly said, observing the woman that had climbed atop the tree on the other side of the camp. She then turned her attention towards the two men, nodding once to acknowledge their presence before walking closer to Drugo's body and slowly lowering herself and resting on her knees. Someone with a clear head had to look after the body and well....Melda is not someone who keeps a clear head that easily, but oh well.

Kaelmourn would eventually come back into camp, during his time away he didn't seem to move from his spot on the hill, just seeming to stare off into the darkness for a good solid amount of time. He returned now, though, his head feeling clearer though still troubled by the sudden death of his personal guard. At the very least he could take count of the newcomers and get their bearings underway. He moved into the camp and took a seat on a large-enough rock to seat him. "Cielo, take first shift, everyone rotate in 2 hour intervals." His featureless hood turned its gaze towards the new half-elf that arrived. "What's your name, what do you do and what do you want?" His voice was perhaps a bit colder than what it normally was, which wasn't saying much, but his mind wasn't much in the mood for formalities.

Melda was overtaken by a slight feeling of dread as the hooded man approached and spoke in his cold manner, yet the other part of herself, the one giving her strength of personality, kept her face from cringing or her body from cowering away from this man. She stood up slowly before saying."My name.." She then slowly bowed down in front of the man, as if she was bowing out of a scene. "Is Melda. I am a sorceress and I travel the land in search of knowledge and power. What I want here is to...Lend a hand, if I may say and do so." She then rose her head up slightly to try and take a good look at the hooded man's face, though she was in vain, he was well hidden. "I happened by while your companions were mourning for the death of this man, my condolences by the way, and decided, on a whim if I may say so, to at least lend a hand. Maybe I was being too intrusive, but sometimes it's hard to control one's urges, no?"

Oirendial saw the uneas in Melda. "You should get used to his voice and stature he's like this all the time." Oirendial tried not to sound amused, it was just strange how two people saw such different things in 1 man. Melda seemed to fear him, in some lesser degree, while she herself only found him intriguing. Her voice returned to a serious and sad tone. "What should we do with Drugo? We can't leave him out for the beasts to eat. He deserves better then that."

"Perhaps I should." Said Melda once she was addressed by Oirendial."Though it is not just the voice and stature, but the reputation of a pirate with such a tone of voice and stature that can make one feel rather....strange." Melda didn't want to sound offensive or insulting, since her intent was far different from such. She then shook her head once more, as a sudden urge of inquiry entered her thoughts but left just as fast. Remaining quiet while the others decided what was the best course of action seemed like the best idea right now.

"Strange is one word for it." With this she turned away from Melda and looked over to Cielo, I healed him once after he failed that attack. And about the trust... "She looked down at Melda i whispered "In advance, no offense." Turning bak to Cielo"... you tell me to trust. But Melda here is a sorceress, i've been keeping an eye on her since she got in the camp, but i haven't seen her cast anything. Although i do believe her in the fact that she is a sorceress, who is to tell me that she isn't in fact an assassin hired by one of the nations that want Kaelmourn dead to slit all our throats in our sleep?" It wasn't an angry comment or anything. just a statement of facts, Oirendial had no grounds to build trust on, so she didn't have trust to give. "Trust can be a weakness just as much as it can be a strength, I've met the wrong side of that equation one too many times."

Melda nodded at Oirendial's whispered words and then allowed her to finish what she had to say to Cielo before stating her opinion. "I understand your concerns. It's hard to trust strangers nowadays and I literally appeared out of nowhere, approached you in a terrible situation and perhaps seemed a bit too intrusive. Apologies once again. I know you mean no offense to me personally, but it could have been anyone in my place, yes?" Melda said, agreeing with Oirendial's words. Her right eye twitched for but a moment as the thought of such an event occuring, an assassin being in her place during such an event, could have proven to be very uncomfortable indeed.

"Right. not everyone is just... whimsical..." Oirendial looked at Melda, her character reminde her of someone, but she couldn't quite remember who at first, But then she focused on the voice. She remembered the voice from before she could see. Melda had visited their mansion about a decade ago now. She had inquired about their library and was granted full acces to it since her father was already trying to arrange her healing by then. She also remembered him Asking Melda if she could help, but Melda had said that healing magic of that kind was not within her power at that time.
Oirendial had followed Melda around as quietly as only a blind person could. She knew every part of the mansion, every stone that was too wide, every board that squeaked. Melda had studied in their library for days, sometimes reciting passages from the books she read.
"Do you remember Lord Gracko and Lady Brianath? You studied their library some years ago. They had a blind daugther they wanted healed. You had said it was not within your powers." This was the most direct way to know if Oirendial was right and it had been this woman. (Her parents never named their daugther when asking for healers, so Melda wouldn't know her name)

Melda crossed her arms in front of her, right hand's fingers on her chin as she looked up and away, trying to think back ten years ago. She narrowed her eyes as a thought came by, but she quickly leit it go, urges of inquiring not being a good thing to embrace right now. "I do remember the library...Oh yes, I remember now. It was quite some time ago. I wanted to visit Lord Gracko's library since it was said that he possessed a vast amount of books that could provide me with the knowledge I sought. There was a little girl that they spoke to me about, but I am no healer. I couldn't do anything for her." Melda said and nodded quite a few times, now sure that this was an event in her life that she remembered.
However, another sudden urge of inquiry passed through her mind, one she could not ignore. Melda looked at Oirendial inquisitively before asking."How do you know about that though? Were they your friends?"

"They were my parents. I was the blind girl. As you can see, other healers could do what you could not." Oirendial sounded immensely sad when teelling this. " I remembered the sound of your voice. You read aloud quite a lot. And i was intrigued by magic, even back then, though i had no talent. Even though you have never seen me, I followed you everywhere you went in our house"

Melda lowered her gaze, anger overwhelming her for a brief moment, her right fist closed tight and shaking."I am sorry. I am no healer. I could have never helped you, even if I tried. It's just not what I am made to do." She then forced this sudden anger away from her by letting out a long, drawn-out sigh. She lifted her gaze once more and then could only inquire."And your parents? How do they fare?"

"They're dead" Oirendial said is as short and quickly as she could, giving herself no time to linger on the words since they would only bring sadness again. "I do not blame you for not being able to heal me. I was merely stating the fact that i can see now. My prents were killed for the reward they promised the healers."
