"Not really a test, more of a character check. I wanted to see how you'd react. Not reacting at all wasn't one of the scenarios i had expected." Oirendial knew she had underestimated him. A mistale she wouldn't make again. "Any chance you're capable of some magic yourself?"

"sadly no, I tried many times to learn but it seems I do not have the spark needed to be able to cast spells. At least this is what my mentor told me" Wyatt replied "but we all have our talents magic just is not one of mine".

"we all have our talents.... true..." It was something her mother used to say whenever she tried to run off again and was found somewhere, lost and alone. her mother would always comfort het. We all have our talents, you can hear and feel things no one else can, but don't try to see them, that wasn't meant for you. "Oirendial looked at Wyatt "What would you say your talents is? I'm curious about you."

Unknown to the whole group, Drugo laid there motionless and lifeless. He had died of a stroke. The lack of oxygen to his brain from drowning made his condition spiral out of control. His death was one that cannot be helped, by spell or cure.
(OOC: I'm making a new character. A character that was very close to Drugo, like a brother. A dhampir character.)

Kaelmourn sat and watched the two, occasionally glancing around to ensure nothing was approaching them. His eyes had become adjusted and his thermographic vision working just fine in the dark. His keen eyes searched and searched but nothing ever came, just Wyatt and Oirendial talking but..there was something off. It took him a while to realize it but Drugo's temperature was dropping in the cold night. He stood up, worry in his stride as he moved over to the Samurai and pressed two fingers to his neck. The realization came through to him very clearly.
"He's dead..." Kaelmourn said softly, pain in his throat. Suddenly the burden he carried became so much heavier, the burden of being a survivor of Cantha was multiplied two-fold. It wasn't just him and Drugo anymore. It was just...him. Alone. Perhaps for the better and perhaps for worse. It was irrelevant if Drugo was considered a friend to the Ranger, it didn't matter. On this day he had just lost a very close ally, and the only thing he had left of his past home. All of it now gone to him. He simply stayed knelt there, staring at the lifeless, peaceful body. Everything that they had gone through, everything they had fought and survived and dealt with, to end it here to natural causes after fighting with an Octopus. It was....wrong.

Oirendial walked over to Kaelmourn. "What do you mean, i healed him not too long ago, hes' fine!" She kneeled beside him and shok him by the shoulder, his head tilted to the side, but there was no response. She shook him harder, yelling our his name. When that didn't work she stretched out a trembling hand and put it on his face, he was getting cold. With fear of what she would find, she put two fingers in his neck, like Kaelmourn had done, but she didn't feel a pulse. "No,... this... not like this." Oirendial felt as if she her world had suddenly become ethereal. She saw Kaelmourn, but didn't notice him, the trees around them were pale, Wyatt all the same. The world couldn't move on like this, without Drugo. It had to stop, acknowledge the death of a great warrior and pay the respect he deserved. Not leave his cold body while the world kept going as if nothing had happened. It was just wrong

Cielo quickly ran out of the bushes. He was huffing and puffing, and was glad he finally caught up. He quickly walked up to Kaelmourn, quickly avoiding the sleeping body on the floor. Trying to catch his breath. With a grin he tried as quickly as he could to explain what happened to him and his ship and ended with, "I'm here now. I was alive the whole time." He spun around confused and then looked back to Kaelmourn and asked, "Where is Drugo?"

Oirendil stands up and aims her crossbow at the stranger that just charged in. "Who are you. And why do you ask for Drugo." She tought it strange that a stranger showed up, just as Drugo had died of seemingly natural causes. Oirendial knew he had been drinking alone and she also knew her healing spells didn't cure poisons.

Cielo bent over with his hands on his knees. He was huffing and puffing. He raised one hand up for mercy. "My name is Cielo. I am an inquisitor.", Cielo said as he tried catching his last breath before pulling himself up. He was a tall man, similar in height to Drugo. "I'm sorry if I have frightened you. As you can see I had a long run. Mountains aren't a fun terrain to run through." He then reached into his pocket and pulled out some blackwater rum.

"I see you ran, but i still do not know why. Answer my questions. Please" The last word was filled with as much contempt as she currently could muster. This was a time for mourning. This man had no place here. Not now

Wyatt seeing his party confirm the death of the samurai, goes into denial
~that impossible drugo cant be dead~
remembering the days he travelled with the samurai, drugo would take grievous wounds and then walk just walk it off like it was nothing.to just die in his sleep didn't seem like a samurai's death.
he stands there in silence for a few minutes,at first not noticing the newcomer but Oirendial's shouting snaps him back to reality.

Cielo then frowned then looked at the body that slumped on the ground. He realized it was Drugo. He quickly ran up to the body, kneeled, then held the corpse in his hands. "Drugo...", Cielo said with tears in his eyes. "I will always remember those times...when we were in blackwater cove." Memories now floating through his head. "You probably thought I was dead," Cielo said as he huffed up a crying laugh then resuming, "but it seems our roles have been reversed. Was it not to be?" He then hug to Drugo very tight. "I will miss you, my friend.", he whispered to Drugo.

Oirendial lowered her bow. Either he could make a great performance, or he had known Drugo. As much as she grieved Drugo, Oirendial couldn't help but think, hey, at least our party isn't weakened

Cielo slowly put Drugo back to the ground. He pulled a cloth out and quickly wiped his face, then stood up very tall. He looked at Wyatt then said, "I am a pirate. When Kaelmourn sailed to Volkenheim...we got hit by a bit of trouble. To save Kaelmourn we stayed behind and fought off the invading fleet. Our ship exploded and luckily Kaelmourn's ship got away...well kind of. His ship was damaged too. There were three ships, Kaelmourn's, some sailor fishing boat, and then ours. Kaelmourn's ship wasn't too far off in the distance to see us light up in the sea." He then flicked his hand near his ears to wave off his hair.
