Drugo decided to do something to help relieve himself of the alcohol. He decided to do some meditation. Sitting in the mud, he tried to control over his thoughts, but it didn't turn out the way he planned and just fell asleep while in meditation. His head slung forward as his legs were crossed. Snoring lightly, he would have a good nights rest.

Oirendial looked at Drugo, at first sitting there meditating, then slowly starting to sway back and forth untill he evertually leaned forward and fell asleep, and she couldn't help but laugh, it was such an innocent vision, like it should be in the world, just sleep when you're tired. Not like Kaelmourn now. He sat in the same place he sat before, watching around him to look for dangers like the treant they had to run from. Was this what the world should be, constantly watching out for danger, always fearing for your life? It had been what she did the past years when she lived in her own forest. Maybe it was time she moved back into a city, relax for a while. It would be nice to sleep deeply for a night, knowing that there would be nothing that would rip her throat out around the corner

Vez puts a few more branches on the fire, halting his idle conversation with Wyatt to notice the new arrivals, clearly looking rather confused, thinking about what could a drunk soldier, an angst-ridden ranger, and a curious witch do in the middle of the forest, especially after hearing strange noises a few breaths ago, more especially when they come back drenched in sweat. Even though it would be tempting to ask the questions, he dared not to, it is better for the common good not to say a word to Kaelmourn in his current state. Instead continued his chatter with Wyatt. - "So, tell me, gods forbid..." he said in a rather hesitant voice, warming his hindpaws in the fire and rubbing the dirt and mud off them, "What are thy schemes of being part of this group? What are thy -goals-?" Putting a bigger emphasis on his last word.

Kaelmourn kept watch for hours, he didn't keep track of time but he estimated about two to three hours were spent watching over the group as they did whatever but exhaustion was beginning to settle over him as well. He kept watch for as long possible before his eyes began to flutter closed underneath his hood. He blacked out for a few seconds before his mind came to the realization that he was falling asleep and he snapped himself back up. His form rose and he moved over to find Oirendial, nudging her with the end of his bow. "It's time to switch shifts." He whispered for only her to hear. He paused for a moment and then added "If you wouldn't mind some conversation first."

"I have nothing but time. I'll keep watch, you can sit by me and talk if you wish, it'll make the time pas faster." Oirendial sat down comfortably on the roots of a tree, a bit away from the camp, where she had an overview of everything. She waited till Kaelmourn caame over and then asked "What do you want to talk to me about?"

Kaelmourn laid his head against a rock to rest, oddly enough still wearing his armor and cloak though this didn't seem to bother the Ranger at all. "It seems odd to most, wouldn't you say? A cold, hardened leader of Pirates with cheery crew? The two do not seem to be able to mix, and yet they do. Do you know why I am the way I am?" His hood did not tilt towards Oirendial to look at her, remaining straight ahead while the drow relaxed into his spot as best as one could. His thermographic eyes continued to watch into the darkness for any signs of heat or movement, fatigue slowly settling upon him.

"I've wondered why, I've tried to make some theories, inclusing what i've heard from Drugo. But no, I can't get a decent story set up around you. I am curious though." She sank in thought. It was true, she had had many theories about him, losing his parents like her maybe, disowned was another, maybe he wanted to prove himself away from home? "As for the combination of characters, you are the leader of the pirates, you've made it clear to me before that you trust any and all in your crew, their cheeriness suprises and confuses me sometimes, but it could just be a facade for all i know. I can't see into peoples minds.... well, not yet at least." She said with a sligth chuckle, trying to defuse the tention that was almost tangible

Drugo woke up and quickly jumped up from his little resting spot. He was shocked that he had slumped over in meditation. He had an assortment of dreams, many of which were normal except one that surprised Drugo of dreaming about. He shown concern in his face over that one dream, but he had let it go and went to do his basic routine. In Drugo's basic routine after meditation he would relax himself once more and tried to stretch, then after that he would try to walk around, and after that he would reflect over what he had felt and experienced in his...half meditative state. Drugo threw off his armor and went down to stretch. Joints popped as he pulled his limbs around his body. He could feel the stretched pain and released his grip and slowly moved himself back into a cross-legged position. Drugo could feel himself being soft on the half-elf. He became affectionate and not known why. He didn't want to become too attached, it wasn't really his intentions. He only wanted to be friendly as courtesy to her. Drugo got up, blood flowing in his veins. He could feel the warmth his body gave off in the cool night. Armored up and ready, Drugo took a slow walk around the camp with vigilance.

Oirendial watched Drugo move around the camp as she waited for a response from Kaelmourn. It seemed he had recovered well after sleeping. She admired him for his resilience, she had been drunk only once and the day after was a full out disaster. Drugo however just got up, stretched in ways that would tear her limbs from her body and put on his armor again. She wondered, maybe she would need an armor too later on. Her clothing wasn't made to bear the claws and stingers ad horns and teeth of whatever attacked them. As long as they didn't get to a city it was a useless thought anyway. no one could craft an armor on the go.

Kaelmourn closed his eyes, mumbling something quietly under his breath in undercommon. Finally he spoke up again, though his voice suggested he was beginning to lapse into sleep slowly. "Because you're all like puzzle-pieces...You each fit into something destined only for you, you simply need someone to put you there. It's why I am so much different than the rest, why I remain cold while the others are cheerful. I'm there to make sure the puzzle is created, to ensure everyone's potential is maximized. It's the role I play." There was a soft hint of sadness to his voice, as if his part in reality seemed limiting to him. Yet he had accepted such a long time ago. He was Kaelmourn, Ranger, Noble of Cantha, Pirate Lord of Blackwater. He had all the titles one could ever desire and yet it all came down to his acceptance of a role in destiny.

Oirendial watched Kaelmuorn drop into a deep sleep, however, what he said righ before then shook her on a deep level of her soul. Was it all really that simple? All and everyhting predestined? Just pieces of a puzzle waiting to fall in place, no choice where to fit, no choice how to turn or what to look like. She couldn't accept that, it couldn't be like that. If everything was meant to be before they did it, then why do it at all? She knew that life was a line from birth to death, but she had always imagined she herself was drawing that line, not just chasing a line that had already been drawn. One positive thing if what Kaelmourn just said was true, what happened to her parents had never been her fault.

Kaelmourn hadn't even realized he had fallen asleep when he did, his mind wandering off onto the thoughts of destiny, his dreams filled with what his own destiny had in store. Fire, blood, death as far as the eye could see. He would deal it and it would eventually be dealt to him. It was a very clear image of what he saw, a word summed up into three letters and used again and again by the many people of the world. Regardless of culture, race or existence all people knew this word.
War.
It was coming, coming for Kaelmourn, for his crew, for Blackwater and all of Calidor for that matter. War was coming and there was nothing any of them could do to stop it, only to fuel it. The only question would remain as to whether or not the Pirate Lord would be strong enough, cunning enough, to stand in its approach. Or perhaps he would just be swept away like so many others would.

Oirendial sat back, overlooking the camp. Looking out for anything that could harm them. She ook out her crossbow that she had recently enhanced with her magic. The wood was now smoother, the edges clearer. The arms of the bow bent forward ever so slightlyy to enhance the force off the pull. The string wasn't a single string anymore, but a woven string, stronger and tighter. She was proud of the work she did to her bow. Tomorrow she would do the same to Kaelmourns bow. After that maybe to Drugo's sword. Although she doubted he would part with it for an hour. He seemed to be very close to it, and very proud

- "My people has an ancient saying, that was found in old tablet writings, it goes like this: As Khe'tcabathon rarreh althaaro, as dirruum. It translates to, The leaf can only go to where the wind blows it." Said Vez in a sleepy groan-like tongue, as he slowly pulls his head up from his bedroll. "However, the wind can be somewhat controlled by certain forces, though not entirely. In the way of Kaelmourn's saying, this means that you can change thy shape to be a different puzzle piece..." Then he would let out a big yawn, shifting around in his bed, "...but, the winds will always change on their own as well, and what will happen to the puzzle piece you took its place?" He paused, trying to let the others think about it, then continues, "You cannot know. Nobody can... At least, that's what We believe."

Oirendial listened intently to the words of the wolf, adding them to what Kaelmourn said made sure she would be able to stay awake during her guard. She wanted to add to the wisdom with word of her own, but she hadn't been old enough to gain wisdom like that from her parents before she had to run. Her mind ran rampant. What was she to believe?
