Suddenly he heard a voice above him from the branches. "You take running prety bad, might i ask why?" She had a vague idea that it would be honorbound like with drugo, but it seemed deeper in kaelmourn, something more. She wanted to go near him, talk to him, but he had a nearly tangible aura around him that he wanted to be alone. she decided she would follow him from the trees and if he kept this distant she wuld just leave him be

Kaelmourn continued walking but made no attempt to shoo her away, simply continuing his walks through the woods. "Running means failure, failure means weakness. The world is a dangerous place, It's unacceptable to be weak." His answer was short and concise, it conveyed his feelings on the matter clearly. He stopped to examine something in the mud, kneeling down to examine it further. Simple deer-tracks, nothing truly of note to him so he ignored them for now and continued on. He gestured for her to come down, a simple "Come here" gesture.

She jumped down and landed next to him in the mud, though she didn't splash a drop. "Why is it weak to stay alive? Had we been trampled by that triceratops you would be dead now, no chance to become stronger and kill the next triceratops we meet." She felt like a child comforting an adult on issues she could not understand.

Kaelmourn sighed and stopped in his tracks, "It is not the shame in running, it is the shame in knowing we would be dead if we hadn't. That it was a battle we couldn't win. That is the shameful part, the part that makes me weak. Thus I need to come back to it later, overcome the challenge to show weakness is not the case here. It is not a trait of the Drow but a trait of me. It's just something I need." Kaelmourn continued his walk now, head but a bit low as his mind thought about all that had happened.
"I feel wronged, wronged by myself. There shouldn't be a challenge out there that nature itself can throw at us that I shouldn't be able to handle."

As Oirendial and Kaelmourn left, Drugo decided to walk over to the trees and slump down by the trunk of one. It felt great after the storm. He could feel the cool air. When he sat down he heard the mud splatter underneath him. He didn't care, he would wash the armor another day. Feeling into his little sack, he decided to pull out his spare rum and a little glass. He was feeling very happy to drink the rest of his rum. One little sip and he already felt better.

"If there is nothing on earth that you cannot beat, then what is your goal?" Perfection is a nice goal, but once it's reached, it becomes pointless. We need things we cannot beat to remind us that we much fight better, train harder. You haven't wronged yourself, you merely acknowledged the fact that you are not a god."

Kaelmourn shook his head, "No, not anything on Earth, simply anything that nature has to offer." He leaned up against a tree and crossed his arms, watching her heat signature. "So long as there is something stronger out there I will strive to become better than it. It's simply in my nature. Perfection is the goal of all creatures on an instinctual level, but I take it seriously and consciously follow it. I aim to make the Pirates of Blackwater a force to be reckoned with, something to be feared." If she could see through his hood she would be able to see the determination in his eyes as he watched her, but the Drow made their cloaks well, they were one-way mirrors so to say. Of course, it didn't make the best of disguises for him since he was the only in the entire land that used one.

Oirendial nodded slowly "I know what you speak of, i know what you mean by becoming a feared force, but i do not understand." She shook her head n doubt and confusion. "Isn't the goal of everything that lives to stay alive? We are driven by the urge to survive, to live on. Why would you want to stand above natures creatures, are we really better then them? are we more? Seems to me that we all just want to survive." She looked at him in anticipation.

Drugo was starting to feel a slight headache. He got up and felt very woozy. For Drugo, it was all the rum and alcohol he drank, and for every step he tried to make he would stumble a bit before getting back to normal posture. For some reason Drugo thought it was a good idea to take a walk. He started forward after Kaelmourn and walked like a drunk man. "Fifteen men on the dead man's chest...Yo-ho-ho, and a bottle of rum!", Drugo sang as he was tilting and wobbling while making an effort to catch up to Oirendial and Kaelmourn. Drugo had no idea how drunk he was.

Kaelmourn watched her careful, hand gesturing out in front of him while he talked. "Because sentient beings rule the Earth as the apex predator, because of intelligence, wit and technology. If we can't kill or defeat something purely of nature then it simply shows that we as people are weaker than nature, and as such weaker than others." He sighed, "I don't expect you to understand how my mind works, or to support it, but I can try and explain it as best I can. I simply think in a way of survival of the fittest. If you're weak, you will eventually be trampled."

Oirendial turned around to the sound of something large stumblin through the forest and was suddenly very aware of the fact that she didn't bring her crossbow. "I do not know how your mind works indeed, but i know yor eyes can see in the dark. CAn you see whats coming for us?"

Drugo stumbled forth into the moonlight. He gave a big smile as he tried walking forward slowly. Drugo gave a couple of giggles and laughed, "Hey you guys!"

Oirendial relaxed, though slightly disgusted. She had seen in Drugo someone who was always in control. Now he was stumbling around here drunk. She answered his overly enthousiastic greeting with a short and cut off "Hey". With that she walked over to him and set him down against a tree before he would fall flat on his face.

Kaelmourn's eyes focused, frowning underneath his hood as he spotted not one but two things. There was Drugo, stomping through forest singing drunkenly. The second was a much more fierce sight, the very same Black Wolf from before, it had been following them. It seemed to stare back for a few moments before rushing off into a nearby bush to disappear. Kaelmourn's eyes turned back from the Wolf he had seen, which he was beginning to wonder if his mind wasn't just playing tricks on him. He let out a soft sigh and said, "It's just Drugo. Drunk."

While Drugo sat down by the tree, he started blurting out things on the top of his mind. "When I was a little fella...when I fought in the orc war...when I almost died, I saw a vision.", Drugo started to lower his voice trying to think, "I saw myself years from the time. I saw the dark warrior, and I knew he was me." Drugo was slowly getting to his senses. The alcohol was still in effect, but Drugo was starting to control himself. "You ever felt the touch of death?", Drugo asked lightly, "It feels cold and lonely, and in it you would feel as if you never had existed."
