Pass the Warden's House he said? So the wizard is indeed the new warden of these settlers. Hal nodded politely to the nice old wizard and answered that he will do so first thing tomorrow. It seems whatever bothered the wizard is no more, or not there anymore. Hal decide to leave complicated things at bay for now and focuses on the upcoming job. And with the bill paid for by the warden, Hal had only one thing left to do and that is to rent a room. He said his farewells to Eratus and Sadris as he approach the bartender to take up on his earlier offer for an affordable one person room. "You know what mister Otto, I'll take that single bed if it's still vacant. It looks like what you said might came true after all." The bartender handed the room key. And the wait is over, the day is finally done.
--thus this story ends--
(PS: this story accepts no more participants, and the remaining participants should post how their "wait" is finally over) (thanks for role playing)

"Now you'll have to excuse me. Tell Otto I will pay for your drinks and food tonight. It's my way of thanking you for listening and sharing your stories with me."
"Finally, he finishes!" Aegoth thought.
Once the wizard left the inn, Aegoth looked outside and realized that time had gone by a lot quicker than he anticipated. It was already night.
"Well that foils my plans," he grumbled. "Oh well, I can explore the day tomorrow I guess"
Aegoth finished off his tankard and gave his farewells to both Sadris and Hal. After that he began to walk upstairs. Before he did though, he flipped the innkeeper a gold coin. "Some tea in the morning would be nice," he smiled and continued up the stairs. He walked into his room and locked the door. Aegoth began to undress and unwrapped his bedroll. He placed his sword directly next to wear his right arm would be when he slept. Finally he made himself comfy and laid on the bed thinking through the day's events.
"That wizard is unnerving, he is a good conversation, but nevertheless unnerving," he thought. He thought back to the half-elf that he met and saw at the center of the commotion at the city market. "That half-elf...Hal was his name. "He is definitely new but the wizard is definitely looking to drag him into whatever he is scheming, best keep an eye on him" He thought about the orc. "I definitely need to keep an eye out for him, something binds him to the wizard, there is no way that an orc of his size and skill would willingly bend the knee to a human"
"And I have a gut feeling something sinister binds us all together"
From there his thoughts flew to past cities, views, women, and finally he drifted into the blackness of sleep.
((Aegoth's part in this thread ends here, I will open a new thread for the next day's events.))
