I was thinking of gaining reputation through some of my quests sorta like the quest says do x, Buuuut if you manage to do it without doing y or using z means you'd get more reputation. Like on an escort the less damage the escort takes the more rep you'd get.

I'm planning on being a non-lethal damager... unless I see fit to slitting some throats , so I like the hole X,Y and Z thing

I feel like adding the X an Y makes a quest more interesting, it makes you think twice about doing things wich may or may not be completely silly, and its just a lot of fun to Roleplay.

While you shouldn't ALWAYS be able to diplomacy through things, I think that a social character should definitely be viable.

Diplomancers should be considered OP, also not every orc wants to hear about why they shouldn't kill you, they'll just kill you.

And if you try to diplomacy out of a situation that does not seem to be the right course, much like the fighter solves everything by killing, fits into Spade's xyz scenarios.

It's like the band slayer walking in with their bardic utensils, play a brutal song, and the orc wants to kill them. I believe that is not how it should go.
