After investigating rumours of a powerful wizard in the black water cove territory the group of Kaelmounre ,Melda and Leona fought their way though hordes of constructs around an old tower. After they made there way to the top of the tower finding no one there and assuming the wizard had just died away leaving his creations to guard his empty tower.
They made their way back to the black water cover taking out minor threats in the neighbouring area.
They had set up camp for the night, Leona sat against a tree practising some basic magic by just twirling one her swords around with the same spell that used to give her so much trouble.

Melda sighed as she looked around, the night being rather cold and quiet. Perhaps a bit too cold and quiet for her tastes. She gave a look up towards the sky, smiling at the stars that shed their light on the world. A few seconds passed, and her claws and fangs began manifesting on their own, claws digging deep inside the flesh of her hands as he fists were clenched, drawing some blood. Her mind was clouded by the desire to gain more. To commit acts despicable. When she came to the realization that she was being overtaken by her wild urges again, she lowered her head, slapped herself and shook it off. She retracted her fangs and claws and looked around for Leona, her student. She cleared her throat, adjusted herself and stepped towards the apprentice mage.
She kneeled next to her and obsereved quietly for a minute before saying. " You have progressed, Bautwael. It seems that when you put your mind to it, you truly come through. "

Leona releases the spells allowing the blade the stick into the ground.
"yeah I always thought that magic was for old farts who were just too scared to get there hands dirty, but I can feel it making me an even stronger warrior"
flexing her hands as she says it,Leona then turns her head and notices the blood on her teacher's hands .
"you cut yourself on something?"

Melda raises her palms up slightly and gazes upon them. She had completely forgotten to clean off the blood. She shook her head, blinked her eyes a few times and then tried to change the subject.
"It is nothing, I just got a bit carried away." She said before she folded her legs and sat down on the ground. She took a deep breath and closed her eyes, before exhaling deeply afterwards and slowly reopening her eyes. "I may have to leave soon, Bautwael. I have many questions to answer and while here, I am not making any progress." Said Melda and joined her hands together. "I have done all I can to make you understand magic. Practice is what makes perfect, and you have a long time to practice."
Melda turned her head slightly to face Kaelmourn, shaking her head in disappointment. "I was told Kaelmourn would help me find some answers, but it looks like he was just there to make use of my talents for his own purpose. Pity. I was filled with hope for a few weeks. I hold no grudge against him, however."
Melda once again faced Leona, nodding once.

Melda let out a long, drawn-out sigh and shook her head slowly before speaking in a low tone.
"I have to seek answers to many questions. I must find my destiny. And if I do not chase it, insanity may devour whatever is left of myself."
Melda then stood up, dusted her clothes off, and then searched around in her belongings. She spoke as she kept on searching inside her backpack, rummaging through her books and pens.
"You have proven to be an obedient learner, Bautwael, though I have taught you as much as I could. Your path lies in patience and study, as your powers do not come from your blood. I know Kaelmourn will need you in fulfilling his ambitions, so I cannot ask of you to follow me in whatever place I may end up in."
Melda paused for a moment, clutching a small, empty, vial made of glass in her right hand, placing down her backpack carefully on the ground.
"When we first met, I perceived you as a vulgar, unskilled and idiotic woman of a poor land, with no future at all. It seems that I was wrong by far."
Melda looked at Leona, a feint smile on her face, as she spent a moment to think on her next action, and waiting for Leona to state her opinion on the matter.
