Aegis stacked the wood as always and used his claws to sparks the flint a few time. Soon a roaring fire sat before The Band Of The Hawk. It had been a difficult week of travel taken at break neck speed in the back of a cart. Aegis cracked his shoulders and sat down on an extra log. " So newbies how did you like your first battles as Hawks?"

well, i hate Wolves in general, Barghest are assholes, and there seems to be a LOT of spiders in this forest... So all and all, Amusing but Chaotic

Artorius moved to lay down by the roaring fire, resting his fanged head atop two large paws. Looking at Aurora Artorius says, "So much hate for someone that sat on top a bat throughout the duration of the fight, perhaps you will learn to love the chaos if you joined in the fray."

why would i join the fray? i don't have a Shell to hide in like you or Aegis, i have no weapon training, i COULD go up close and personal, but channeling magic is wild and unrefined, not just enemies would be harmed... so i play to my advantage, like everyone else does and will.
although i will admit... the what you do is pretty cool... sadly that's not my specialty.

So what you're telling me is you will probably never feel the raw pleasure of ripping someone's throat out and seeing the life slowly drain from there eyes? If that is true, then I am truly sorry for you. Although your flight will make an excellent magnet for any archers nearby...

why Stain my hands when I can simply create something to do it for me? yes, I am a nice target for archers, but I trained my bat to be fast as the wind, I can easily get out of theseable archer range in mere seconds. but yes, if it truly comes down to the end, I can kill a few mongrels myself if that's what it takes.

Shifting positions to warm another part of his fur Artorius turns back to Aurora, "I'm sure you have heard word of what we're approaching, what is your plan against numbers of that magnitude?"

what i have been doing I hope will continue to work, however should I be grounded, I can(seems troubled by her next statement) Get the bats "back up" and have them charge in, hopefully if the group is faltering, that can generate enough distraction to help everyone run, although I don't know if I can reanimate something that big yet so i can probably get a few orc's to get back up... (brief pause)
although... this might be one of the few times staying on the ground will be advantageous, because the longer my Spiders hold, the longer they absorb fire, and I can keep them going for a good while, which will give time for the others to clear more orc's, which I can get back up, its perpetuating.

Interested by the concept of having recently fallen orcs combat there former comrades Artorius says, "How long would it take you to reanimate a corpse, and how often can it be done?" Artorius then proceeds to Mage Hand another log into the fire.

it only takes a few seconds, and I am limited 2 a day, 3-4 if if i can muster the energy. there is an off chance that enough death occurring in the area causing me to be able to Raise 1-3 more. The Fallen are much harder to kill then the living, so it should give us an advantage.

Nodding his large head Artorius turned to face the others in the group, who seemed to be quite quiet.
He then returned his gaze to the cleric and asks, "It seems we both joined the Band of the Hawk around the same time, where did you come from? I did not see you along the paths leading to the city."

Aegis watched their exchange with a knowing smile. He had know they were Hawks at heart. " Good plan. Shock, awe, and pants shiteing terror. Classic. " He commented. " Now we just need to make it work. "

well i can make it work, the more Orcs that Fall, the Greater the energy i can build up, and the more Orcs i can raise, between that i can provide a little support if i get cover. also the orcs need to be in touching distance to raise them...
