Sona pulls her wings in and puts on a dead smile and walks in "I'm just going to go and get my work done we don't have time to waste just bickering and thinking bout the past" as she opens the door and walks in "I'm sorry I messed up guess its my bad blood kicking in again." she enters the shop going to her casts and starts submerging them in the water to quicken the cooling her smile is void of emotion.

"Don't ye worry Gortrex. If and when Ewanko makes golems, she would be needing Dwarven help, bet me beard on it. Ho, ho, ho."

" Turn off the monster you say." He said as he passed her on his way to the enchanting room. "To me the word monster is synonymous with power. We have power for a reason. Use it well and people see power as special and holy. Used wrongly and it is cheap tyranny. Hero and villain are just different words for monster. You decide what the word really means."

Sona just hangs her head and can't help but feel inadequate. the pains of past bringing her to a slow with the cutting of arms "Y'know" another pause for her composure "when I was young it was as simple as having a different shape to be evil or tainted. my father wasn't that way though he thought everything was good and naught evil he found him self wandering the dimensional stairs just because he could. and instead of asking for passage the fool went to an azata keeper of the dimensional staircase and flirted with her and when she saw he was good and well intentioned she gave him permission to use the stairs as he saw fit. a feat almost as worthy as one of Imoedae's if he had taken it, but no he saw it in himself to ask for her hand on that whim." she takes a deep breath and looks round the workshop "she took his hand and the next year I was born but she still had her duty and he still ventured onward they saw it fit to put me in a orphanage of desnas for my good luck in finding home only the clergy there didn't beat me and if it weren't for the magics my wings would be cripple now never to know freedom of flight I do now. Thats when I found the love of mechanical constructions and powder arms without luck without divine help and no magic they made life better for everyone."

" I never knew my parents. I remember them in my dreams sometimes. I like to think they were good people. The villagers found me in the wood." Aegis seemed to be looking at something in his mind. It seemed to bring his some measure of happiness. "The village of Artena was good to me. The local priest gave me a place to live and they taught me a trade. I learned to cook there. It seems like we have that much in common. However the Spirits are the ones who raised me."
He pointed to behind Sona. " One of the queens is with me even now. She likes your guns and your wings. When ever you are near me she watches your wings. Amaterasu has taken a real shine to you. "

Ewanko stretched out her arms. The first day hunting is uneventful - literally - she and Gortrix are both lousy at hunting, and she had hoped the mighty ranger is available yet he had been doing nightly patrols and had been hunting at night. "Well, Gortrix, we might not be the best hunters, but I'll be damned if they say something about our crafting skills. Time to earn our keep. But first, come forth good old dwarf, let me give you some good old fashioned dwarven blessing of sorts."
The barbarian happily complied. The arcane crafter performed a few quick gestures the dwarf does not understand but when the spell is completed, he felt a tingling sensation he is very familiar with.

He be craften for so many of dem people and troops it be good to give em something as well if ye thinks thats decent enough? besides he needs somethin to wear going out and all. He cant be a respectable crafter and just be wearing de clothes on his back.
we might have better luck a hunting tomorrow.

"Aye. And look what I have." Ewanko showed the plans eerily similar to Claus' armor designs but is drawn on pink stationery.
"Aye lassie, I remember these designs - I help make 'em from what me remembers room me days with the ninth battalion but I don't remember him drawing it on pink paper," commented Gortrix.
"That's because I made these silly," winked Ewanko. She tapped her temple with her finger. "Photographic memory."

Sona while working on her new weapon stopped for a second and thought about the clauses interest in her rifle she thought it be a good time to let him familiarize himself with the craft and she wrapped up her pepperbox and brought it to claus for chat "mr claus i got a present for you" she put her pepperbox on the table unrolling it gently "you showed some interest in these and while I was crafting I thought you might be interested in holding on to it for me while I worked" she winked and smiled a little cheering up some.

Claus gave the pepperbox rifle a quick look and feigned disinterest. "You can leave it there if ye want. Ye can go back fer it tomorrow morning."
Sona was puzzled with the dwarf's unusual grumpy demeanor but she left the rifle anyways.
The next day, she came back for her rifle because she need it to hunt. The smithy was empty. Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse. Lo and behold, on one of the walls, there is a long, knitted sock patterned with red and green stripes. In the sock is her shiny pepperbox rifle.
"Master Claus is really acting weird," Sona said to herself. And she took off to hunt.

Gortrix and Ewanko started the week making the special armor for Santa Claus. Ewanko was seeing the barbarian dwarf who constantly seeks his doom in a whole new light. Whenever Gortrix, helps in crafting armor, you can see life sparkle in his eyes. And this particular armor brings out the life in him the most, perhaps because we are making it as a gift for good ol' Santa. Ewanko knew that the dwarven savage can help craft armors but he actually knows secrets to modified armors when he was with the ninth battalion. She was able to remake the designs Claus showed thanks to her photographic memory but nothing beats actual experience brought by the dwarf to the table.
"Aside from the armor modifications, I'd like to add armor spikes and a kilt." Ewanko said.
"I think he might like that, especially the kilt. The Claus Clan are from the highlands. They belong to one of dem Famous Craften Guilds there." "Well, let's get started then." Ewanko said.

Aye little missy, it be a good thing to make him one of dem armored kilts. It would bring him great joy to be wearen his clans colors or so it is. Also ye got to be careful little missy on craften dem spikes. Cause its all pointy and ye dont want to slip and get ye hand pierced by dem points. It be a bad day in my books in deed if ye be hurt.

The arcane crafter gave the dwarven barbarian a huge smile. He reminds her of her own dwarven brothers, always bad-tempered and sulking yet very protective of her. "I'll promise I will be careful."
In just a few days, they managed to finish the dwarven armor. They have built in a lot of modifications in the armor. The artistry of armor design lies not just in how well it protects its wearer, but in how widely or unexpectedly its angles can deflect an opponent’s blows.
Gortrix explains, "This design is meant not just for show - it deflects weapon strikes and helps you catch yer opponent off-balance. Adamantine armor complements well with the reinforcements we have made. Enemies who swing too hard at this armor soon learn to regret it. The jarring shock that runs up their arm as their weapon connects makes it feel as though they have just struck a wall. Plus, it will be really hard to land a deadly blow."
