~The Ambush~ (Flashback takes place in comparison to Day 7 of Jynx's and Ror'Nor's Campfire talks) As Ror’Nor and the Jynx sat at the fire and he stared into as memories began to come to the surface as vividly as a dream. Ror’Nor shook his head as he looked up at his fellow Therians who sat around the campfire who were all eating and well equipped as they were preparing to head out to an old fortress of old. There was at least twenty of them as they had a constant patrol on the outskirts of their camp that was meant to keep them quite secure. There captain who was there officer just by blood alone had always commanded them and they followed his word as if he was a god. He had well earned his position also by his merits and martial strength and wisdom. The potential of a living Master would make most Therians converge on such position but it seemed that this group was all they could find in the small time table given.

Ror’Nor smiled as he knew such a well-organized and well-bonded group would be a benefit to the Master if he was alive and if not they would guard his crypt no matter what. He looked over at his close friend Thret who was slightly bigger than their strength was equal. Thret favored defense over the brutal strikes that Ror’Nor favored and they worked well as a team due to such overwhelming odds. The two of them and several other squad members went to get some sleep as others watched guard.

Ror’Nor would awaken to bright sunlight as his eyes quickly adjusted like most of his race did. The camp was cleaned up and most signs of their stay were gone. Him and his squad set out in a march at the very end of the marching columns. They moved with clean efficiency almost moving as one due to receiving the same train from there captain. Ror’Nor was antsy to meet with one of the mages who created his race as a whole and tried to contain his joy at serving one of them. He went into deep thought about what it would be like and he would regret this moment for a long time to come.

Ror’Nor came back to reality as he felt the arrow slam into his shoulder and immediately tried to form up with his fellow soldiers before another would slam him in the right leg. Ror’Nor was confused as he looked about as fellow soldiers dropped from arrows and then he saw fire coming from all over hitting his fellow soldiers. Ror’Nor and Thret moved as one unit to exchange what they assumed was a mage trying to take out him and his fellow brothers. He wouldn’t let them live after what they did already.

Thret took a few arrow in his shield as Ror’Nor would charge from behind him at the separated mage cleaving him in half. He felt pride as he looked back to Thret and seeing most of his fellow brothers lying dead all caught unaware made him feel true anger and he was ready to charge in and kill them all. He would’ve if not for Thret grabbing him and shoving him away from the scene and telling him they had to run. Ror’Nor only did so after thinking that his last brother might die and he couldn’t let them both be mowed down like dogs by arrows and magic.
