Day One My hand seems to move on its own accord writing down my inner thought on these journal pages. It's been a while since I've felt the urge to be around people, let alone speak my mind. Even if it is to paper I feel an inner urge to stop and walk away, but if I am to become "sociable" again I guess I must start somewhere. At the age of 14 I was chased away from the only life I knew and the only people I loved. Well...I guess I thought I loved. Either way I guess getting caught with the mayors daughter in the barn just goes to show how unlucky I can be. At the point I was faced with the mayors personal guards and chased out of town and told if I came back I would find a noose awaiting my neck. For the past seven years up until this point I've been living in the forests and mountains; Living off the land and becoming one with nature became my only way of survival. I grew a deep distrust for other people and large groups of people always seem to put me on edge, but a small kernal of lonliness has grown in my chest. I need company, someone that I can be around even if it doens't involve talking but just to rely on for a bit.
Which bring me up to this moment today. I've enlisted into the Blackspear Legions Army because they seem to hold something that he is searching for. I've not been able to put my finger on it but it seems to be as if they trust and rely on each other to the point that they risk their necks for each other. I've never experienced that type of companionship and I'll just watch and learn from them. Maybe I'll make a friend that will help me get over my distrust of others, or at least someone that I can relate to. I've been recruited and told to meet up with my counter part, a Therian named Ror'Nor, and do some hunting to get used to working with a partner. Today is my first day out as a legion member, as a member of something bigger then myself.
As I was traveling on my horse, Unlucky, I heard a snorting sound from the brushes near me. While sitting on Unlucky I had to make a quick decision if it was worth it to try to engage this creature. Weighing the options I decided it wasn't worth my time. My supplies were high and I just felt no need to risk hunting this boar, Spening years in the forests and mountains you get a good sense of what snort belongs to what creature, so I pressed on to meet up with this Therian. It's time to rest now, Today was a good day.

Day two
Today after setting out to meet up with Ror'Nor I decided it would be good to get dismount of Unlucky and stretch my legs a bit. I mean honestly who enjoys being in a saddle and riding around all day? After setting up my little camp and making sure Unlucky was comfortable I grabbed my bow and greataxe and decided to go see if I could find myself some fresh meat for dinner. After a quick search I came across a small set of tracks and after taking a closer look at them I noticed they were a set of fox tracks. I'm not going to lie to you Journal, but I smiled because I had been in need of a bit of fresh meat. I decided to take my time through the bushes as not to scare off the fox incase I set upon it unknowningly. With in 10 minutes I noticed a small tuft of red fur sitting next to downed tree and of course I had to take advantage of this situation. He didn't see me yet, and luckily he hadn't caught my scent so I drew my short bow and fired an arrow off. The arrow caught it right in the side and knocked it over. Before my luck left me I dropped my bow and ran across the short distance to get next to it. When I got there it looked like it was trying to flee. Nature has no mercy for the weak Journal. As it turned it back to me and tried to take off I swung down with my greataxe and caught it right down the middle. The single fox became two foxes...at least two parts of a whole. I skinned the pelt and collected the normal sharp teeth and claws off the fox.
I made it back to the camp with Unlucky without incident and cooked a nice little fox stew for dinner. It's time for me to rest now Journal, Today was a good day.

Day three
Today was a very interesting day. While I set off to continue my journey I heard a howl off in the distance. After setting Unlucky up near the fire I set off to investigate this howling, the last thing anyone wants is to be surprised while on the road and ambushed by something. As I walked through the bushes I came across the tracks of a wolf and after a search to make sure it was a single wolf and not a pack I decided to end engage it and get myself a pelt because last night seemed a bit chilly and another blanket would do nicely. I emerged from the bushes and spoted the wolf at the same time the wolf saw me. His black coat helping to camoflauge it into the shadows helped it get the jump on me and it charged me trying to end the fight quickly. He leaped for my throat and the only thing that stopped it from ending my life right then and there was the luck of my heel catching a tree root and making me stumble backwards over extending my back. This wolves teeth closed an inch away from my throat, instantly sending beads of sweat to roll down my back. As the wolf was falling back to the ground I dropped my bow, useless now that he was so close to me. In a flash, as the rays of sun caught the metalic edge of my greataxe, I was able to counter attack. I knew from my past experiences and observations of these animals that if I didn't end this fight soon he would have me laying on the flat of my back and hamstringing me so I couldn't get away. I swung low to catch it as his front paws touched the ground and he would have not have expected a swing from this angle since his eyes were on my face still. I looked deeply into its eyes, looking into his very soul as the edge sliced through his throat.
The wolf let a low gurgle soiund escape his muzzle as he feel to the floor. I lowered my greataxe and knelt by this wolf's side. Such a proud creature, it always saddens me to see them pass away like this. But, such is the way of nature. In respect of my job and personal feelings I make use of every part of that wolf. I skinned it, collected its teeth and claws, and even though the meat was lean and chewy I took enough for dinner when I rested. After this I went back to Unlucky and pressed on. My thoughts always thinking forward because the past can never help. Today was a good day.

Day Four
Nothing happened today. I got on Unlucky and rode and rode and rode. After making camp to rest for the night I used up the last of the wolf and fox in a nice little stew...I'm getting tired of these stews Journal. Time for me to lay my head down Journal. Today was a good day.

Day Five
I finally met up with Ror'Nor today. This Therian seems like the type that is quiet and very direct. He just wants things that are in his way to move, or become dead and on the floor that he can walk over. I like him. He seems like someone that I can relate to. We've found out that we really don't need to have a vocal communication but rather that we read each others body language effortlessly. I'm not sure if you can relate Journal but it reminded me of two predators of a pack, like two wolves working together to bring down the prey. Today we decided it would be good for us to go on a hunt together and get to know how each of us deals with things. A quick search of the area I was able to find us our first prey of the day a nice little horse. Ror'Nor and I quickly decided that we would need to get the jump on the horse and that we should take our time so we didn't give ourselves away. How does this Therian who has to be 6'8'' and at a ton of 270 muslce move so silently?! It didn't matter I guess. We spoted this horse before it caught our scent on the wind and we were close enough to actually get to it before it moved. Ror'Nor went straight to it and made sure it's attention was directly on him before it could do anything. The horse either froze from fear or was stunned by the actions of this man because it stood there and waited. After Ror'Nor set up his position I took off running and drew my Greataxe to get on the other side of the horse to make sure it couldn't get away. Ror'nor CLEAVED...I mean it Journal..He cleaved it in two. I'll never understand how he did it but he literally just cut the horse in one swing. After that we skinned the horse and took the meat for dinner that night. Now that I have someone that is so similiar to me I feel as if I can be at ease. Even just a little bit of relaxation is night Journal. Today was a good day

Day Six
Nothing exciting to note today Journal. Ror'Nor and I are getting along very well and we've found that our talks don't have to be forced. Things seem to be going surprisingly well. Time to rest Journal. Today was a good day.

Day Seven
Journal...Today...Today was a very very busy day. We went off hunting today. Same as the past two days Ror'Nor and I have been together. Just another little hunt for local game if we found any. Luck...Luck is a fickle mistress Journal. I guess I jinxed our good fourntane last night when I wrote to you. As we went out to hunt we found tracks, giant tracks that just waded through the trees as if they we in their way...AS IF TREES were in the wrong for growing there. We scouted a bit deeper at Ror'Nor's expressed interested to see if we can take this big game down. As we came across the tree line we noticed FOUR...FOUR I COUNTED...FOUR trolls. Just wondering around waiting to kill something...anything. I can't help but smirk at this now but even the mighty Ror'Nor and I had the same look....We just turned around and slunked away marking this location down to come back at another time. As we were ..I wouldn't say retreating..I'd say advancing in another direction to get a better strategical location we were pounced on by three eagles.
Luckily Ror'Nor and I were able to spot them before they could do any serious damage. As quick as lightening I pulled my short bow out and fired upon the first eagle I could see. The arrows flight was true and hit the eagle dead center of an eye. It slowly spun down to the ground in a mess of feathers. It looked like Ror'nor was going defensive and waiting till they came into range of his greataxe. Can't blame the guy he just didn't have anything with range on it. At a glance I pulled the bow sting taunt to my check and fired another shot off at the second eagle. The eagle took the shot and fell from the sky and didn't move from that. The third eagel, enraged by seeing its mate and young fall to the arrows of this human decided to attack....The next thing I know is that there are talons embedded into my cheek as he slashed at me. The first set of claws hurt, don't get me wrong or anything I'm not saying I'm weak, but they were razor sharp and fast...So fast. Angered I dropped my bow and my greataxe appeared into my palm. The downward swing of this greataxe smashed into the eagles skull so hard that shards of it exploded and hit Ror'Nor 30 feet away. One single feather of this eagle floated down to the floor...the rest were all ruined and destroyed.
Ror'nor and I collected the feathers and talons....Who knows what I can make out of these razor sharp talons. We ended the day eating the eagle meat and resting near our horses. Today Journal...Today was a good day.

Day Eight
Today would be a weird day to say the least Journal. Ror'nor and I broke camp early in the morning after resting last night and we set off right away. I would have to say Journal that I didn't expect to be ambushed so early on a beautiful day but such is life. I think it was my fault for not paying the most attention but suddenly out of no where a herd of ferocious beasts were upon us. Very odd behavior of raccoons but I'm going to assume we were near their nest and they became very protective of it. 8 Racoons came upon us and quickly charged us. Luckily I was able to take one down with my quick relexes and in the seconds that followed Ror'Nor and I comepletely wiped them out. 8 Racoons thought they could out do our skills and strength but sadly they learned other wise. We quickly skinned what was left of the carnage that was racoons and gathered the meat for dinner. After that Journal we had a pretty relaxed journey. Today was a good day Journal.

Day Nine
Good evening Journal. I'm hurt pretty bad from todays travels and I don't know how much I'll be able to write till I've rested and recovered some more. Orcs, how I hate them so, ambushed us along the road today. Usually it isn't a big deal for someone of my skills but today my namesake came true. I was Jynxed when it came to trying to hit orcs with my arrows. 7 Orcs set upon us so quickly that I barely had time to react to the few that were to slow to attack right away. My arrows pluked a few here and there but it was Ror'Nor that did most of the work. I got hit pretty bad a few times and almost died. Ror'Nor saved me and killed the rest of the orcs off almost two by two. It was impressive to say the least. I have a new sword to use that we looted off the dead orcs and ..god I'm sleep. I'm going to rest now Journal. Today overall was a good day.

Day 10
Today Journal was an easy day I would have to say. Ror'Nor and I decided it would be best for us to just hang out and hunt the area to recover from the orc battle. I scouted the area and could only find the tracks of a fox for us to hunt down sadly. I spotted it first among the heavy brushed area near the trees and got my bow out without it noticing us. I was able to fire off the arrow and took the fox in the right eye making sure it wouldn't damage the pelt with any unnessecary holes. Ror'Nor and I made a nice fox stew with some roots that I found around the campsite. I'm feeling better Journal but I have a long way to go. Today was a good day Journal

Day 11
Journal my luck is good and bad sometimes and I wish I could control it better. While Ror'Nor and I were on the road we saw some shadows flying over head and didn't think of it. Maybe they were passing clouds or some magicial effect of another flying over head. Journal we were wrong, very very wrong. Four eagles swooped down on us as if we were easy prey. How dare they think that of us. Ror'Nor going into his blood craze started chopping them left and right. My arrows flying from my bow as fast as possible to take them out. We made it out of the fight with little to no injury and were able to rest after that night. We were able to have a nice little eagle and root meal and even had time to actually kick off our boots and relax. Today was a good day Journal.

Day 12
What a shameful day it was Journal. Ror'Nor of course is ferious as alway when it comes to us making an escape against a foe that is stronger then we are at our injured state. If only we weren't injured, if we were at our full power we could have crushed those filithy hobgoblins. We ran. Ror'Nor and I ran from five little filthy HOBGOBLINS. My palms itch thinking about their blood spilling on the ground but of course we were injured and it just wouldn't be wise to attack them. So we ran from yet another enemy. First the four trolls, now the five hobgoblins. What's next? We run from FOXES?! I dare not think about that happening. Luckily we made it to the meeting place with our leaders and are able to rest and heal more.

Day 13
Journal today Ror'Nor and I were able to extract some of our anger at having to RUN from hobgoblins. We decided that it was time to hunt after waking up early in the morning and the rising sun was in our favor. We set off with our weapons ready and our horses set up around the camp fire for safety. I quickly found the wolf tracks, it appeared to have stepped into a small patch of soft dirt leaving a clear imprint of his paw. We followed it deeper into the woods and came upon it with out it noticing us. I fired off two arrows and each hit it dead center killing it before it had a chance to react. I took this wolf pelt Journal and made a fine little soft fured pillow for me to rest on till we get to a town and I can sell this stuff. Wolf meat is usually chewy and lean but when you let it shimmer for hours on in a stew it become nice and delicious. Today was a good day Journal.

Day 14
Journal I have grown to enjoy days like today. Ror'Nor and I rested the whole day. We weren't even angered that we couldn't find anything to hunt what with the left over meat and stew. We talked a bit about working through our pasts and getting into a more detailed plan on how to extract revenge on those hobgoblins and trolls that we had to retreat from. Soon we will run into our Legions leadership and be able to rid the area of the hostile force that has been causing problems in the area. I have to say Journal that I'm growing to enjoy having a friendship. Someone that I can count on when things go a little rough is always nice to have. Today was a good day Journal.
