The ride towards the main Blackspear party didn't drag on too long for Sosay or Jagar, although a week passed in the process. Occasionally stopping for a quick fox hunt for meat and furs to bring as gifts to the General of The Legion, Sosay and Jagar would take some time out to discuss the recent events of the week as well as the strange and interesting animals they encountered during the week and throughout Calidor in general.
Despite Sosay mostly keeping a positive mood and conversation with the hobgoblin, he grew more anxious and concern that the General might leave the rally point before they would arrive. He was looking forward to meeting the General of The Legion not only to potentially swear his loyalty to the Legion, but to gain a better understanding of what he might end up getting into if he were to do so.
Thankfully the terrain of the travel mostly involved moving through the well-paved roads of the Volkun Forest even though the village was further up the North Volken Mountains...
When Sosay and Jagar finally made it to the village, they luckily managed to not miss the Legion's posted encampment with its banners flying high and proudly under the clear, blue, and cloudless Calidorian sky. With their journey almost complete, the two men raced across the mountainous terrain towards the encampment as though a great future awaited them at the finish line...

Effigy sat at the head of the war table with multiple members of Blackspear legion sitting around him. Across the table sat a man from the village, obviously the closure of the mine has had its toll on the village as he was dressed in near rags.
Rough maps outlining a series of mine tunnels scattered the table. "The mine is the lifehood of this town, if we don't get that mithral soon I fear we won't have enough food to survive the winter," The old miner pleaded to the war council.
"Silence, we have already agreed to help your village and I will not suffer your begging." Effigy looked out to his soldiers and officers with him, "Our scouts have returned from the mine however they were not able to safely scout inside. From what this babbling idiot tells me it seems to be a full on infestation." He looked to one of his officers who was recording the annuals of the armies exploits, "I have dealt with the undead before, ensure every soldier has a blade and hammer as both shall be necessary if we wish to survive."
One of the newly conscripted soldiers ran into the tent, he was quickly halted in his tracks by a rangers bow with an arrow pointed against his head. "Ssssir Ge.gen.eral sir," He stammered
"You are interrupting a war council soldier," The large orc nodded to the ranger who then lowered his weapon, "you better have a good reason for volunteering to clean the stables." Effigy saw a smile on Master of Beast face, obviously cleaning the feces from the stables was not a prized job.
The face sunk on the conscripts face. He regained his composure. "My apologies General, however there are three people here to see you. A human well under the sun, a dangerous looking hobgoblin, and" he looked around with concern in his face, "another orc."
Everyone at the tables eyes shot towards their general. He was never shy in expressing his hatred towards his own kind and expected him to react in anger. They were disappointed by a grin cracking on his face. "Send them in soldier, and be quick about it. I believe you have a lot of work to do."

Stepping thrue the tents fold first was Chicksaloon. A orc of short stature, and massive muscles. He would have to look up to most people in the room at only 5'1" but his powerful arms are as big as most peoples heads and the rest of his body was just as massive. A suite of beaten and battered Lamaler made of leather draped from his right shoulder down his torso and splitting to cover down to his mid calf. A set of knee, foot and shin guards completed the suit all worn over a dirty, dingy brown loin cloth. What could be seen of his chest was covered in deep, small scars linked together to forum a long chain that wound from his chest down his arm, wrapping many dozens of times before connecting on the back of his hand to the hilt of a greatsword thrust into a rock, the holy symbol of Gorum the god of war. His face was clear of scars save for the long gashed tears spouting from the corner of his lips and going to each ear. His short tusk protruding about 2 inches were ground to sharp points and his hair was jet black and balding leaving the crown of his head exposed were a massive burn could be seen. Protruding into the air from behind his head was the shaft of a Great Ax stained brown from the blood of countless enamys, the smell iron stinging the nostrils. On his hip clattered a rope strung with a orc and a drow skull and more than a dozen raptor teeth.
"I am Chicksaloon of the Blood Tusk Tribe from the mountains of the Orv vault of Deep Tolguth, Now in service to the Emperor of Fire and His Fire Knights"

Jagar got off his horse when he reached the site. There were a couple of tents and a stable nearby. The town was right up in front, but that wasn't what Jagar cared for. His horse strutted towards the stable by itself. Sosay walked behind him, but he had no care for the comments by the human if any were made. He lifted the flap of the tent exposing himself. His yellow eyes scanned the tent as he peered at every person in the tent. He smiled as he saw two orcs then his face went blank at the smaller one. He pointed at it and yelled out, "My father sent you to watch over me, didn't he?!" His face remained gruff, but he wasn't angry...he was just being questionable. He had seen that orc before, it wasn't very smart, but he had known his father kept well with him. The other he had never seen before. This one was grinning at the other orc. He then turned to the taller muscular orc and kneeled with his battleaxe pointing to the ground with both of his hands at its handle. "My name is Jagar. I am the horseman of the fire knights. I am son of the emperor.", he said, "I come to offer my service and skills and to gain experience of battle."

With out breaking eye contact or even moving a muscle to acknowledge or see Jagar, Chicksaloon takes one step forward to allow space for the new comers just as Jagar scans the room and realizes just who he is. Upon reconciliation he blurts out
"My father sent you to watch over me, didn't he?!"
In a flat gruff tone. Cjicksaloon did not see the Hobgoblins finger pointed his way for if he had he would likly have broken it. Jagar walks up to address the other orc and just as he passes Chicksaloon takes the opportunity to address him is a flat and matter offact voice.
"Yes"

As Sosay walked behind the hobgoblin, of whom he did not care to talk with at that time, to approach the general's tent, all he could think about was the lack of cleanliness of his blade and how it bothered him.
"It will be most unacceptable if the General ever sees my dagger in such a state." he thought to himself quietly.
When Sosay finally entered the lavish yet practical war tent of the general, the first thing that caught his eyes were the maps scattered across the center table of what look to be a mine. Next he darted his eyes towards hobgoblin who seemed to be kneeling with his weapon drawn in front of a much taller orc than the one accompanying their party which made Sosay very nervous. Acting quickly, Sosay moved in front of the hobgoblin making sure to push his axe a bit further to the left with his index finger and humbly said, "I presume you're General F of the Blackspear Legion? I am Sosay Kaizer and accompanying me are Jagar, Horseman of the Fire Knights and future Emperor of the Fire Knights," to which he pointed his hand to the hobgoblin, "and Chicksaloon of the Blood Tusk Tribe who is Jagar's man." After saying this, he courteously knelt, bowed his head to the floor, and continued, "We've come to offer you our service as men of the Blackspear Legion and presently we wish to assist you with any matters that need tending to at this time."

Chicksaloon continues his stare down with the other orc whose name he did not or care not to know. With the arrival of the human Sosay and his explanation of who exactly they were Chicksaloon returned to his position at the center of the entrance blocking anyone else from entering the increasingly cramped tent, not that he was uncomfortable having grown up in the Vault of Deep Tolguth in the underdark but he had grown accustomed to liking and having his space. When Sosay finally finished he too took a kneel leaving only Chicksaloon standing.
