Johan sat in his mountain home that he had made for himself several years back and worked on tightening the string on his bow. It was around that time where he would venture back to his former home of Nisengard to pay homage to Nise and see if any of the other tribes were in need of his pelts. The rest of his tribe had died out years ago and the three remaining tribes paid him no mind anymore. He tried to continue fighting to avenge his tribe but the other tribes would not fight back anymore and he found no glory in killing those that would not fight him back. So instead he kept his skills honed by hunting the monsters of the mountains and skinning them for pelts and skins which he traded to the other tribes at the yearly tribute offering. The one day a year there was peace between the tribes.
Today something felt different though. There was a calmness in the air. While Johan followed the ways of Nise he was never one to receive her word directly but today even he felt her presense all around him. A sense of tranquility he had not felt before and somehow he knew that the war was over. Perhaps his time in living in isolation had come to an end. he finished packing his supplies and trade goods. Swung them over his shoulder and began the long trek from his mountain home to Nisengard wondering if this year he would finally be welcome back amongst his former brothers.

Steinhoff knelt before the altar his warhammer clasped before him blood dripping off the handle and being absorbed into the ground. His head was bowed in prayer while his blood still shimmered red and fresh upon the alter before him. His left palm seared with pain from the cut that provided his homage to his goddess, Nise. In his right hand was clasped a wooded holy symbol of Nise, nicked and beaten, it has been through endless battles and still it sang with the power and blessing of his Goddess...and this day something more. He got a vision, no a prophecy. He saw all the clan heads, standing around the altar before him, everyone of them arrayed for battle. He felt his heart sore at the power and strength arrayed before him...though the wars between the tribes have be cruel, long, bloody, and many he held respect for every warrior in his vision friend and foe alike.
The vision continued as each leader pulled their weapons and he felt himself try and pull away from the vision no one should draw a weapon on neutral ground. The vision held him however as he saw every weapon drawn by the leaders, hammers, axes, bows, cutlass, the weapons of his people, the weapons of his goddess, turn to the south and east. He realized then what he was seeing, all the weapons of Nise's children striking together as one...every warrior of Nisengard standing side by side, arrayed against unseen forces from the south. The vision brought tears to his eyes, joy to his soul, and fear to his heart. Just like that the vision ended and left him somehow warm and cold at the same time.
He stood suddenly and turned to one of the altar attendants...a young girl from his tribe en route to be a Battle Mistress. Steinhoff smiled at her through his tears being the only cleric left of the tribes, and nothing more than a Battle Brother should this young girl ever achieve the title of Battle Mistress she would outrank him in the eyes of Nise, with that in mind he gave her an order "Send runners to every chief of the 3 tribes...another to the lost one. We are to gather as Nisengard, our goddess has a message for us." The girl no more than eleven or twelve grabs a shield and hammer as large as her and moves to carry out the order, the weight of the weapon and board seemingly nothing to small girl. Steinhoff calls after her "Send a message to the Order of Odin...we will need a caster." The girl pauses for a moment going tense before moving again to send the runners to the tribal leaders.
Steinhoff turned back to the altar. "Soon my Goddess, you will have the army you have made."
