Can worgs be counted as mounts? For the cavalier, "The GM might approve other animals as suitable mounts." - from 'http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/base-classes/cavalier'. I plan on making a villain character for the purpose of battle RP and the sake of making an evil organization. A hobgoblin Fell Rider is what I am making if anyone is wondering.

Any kind of special mounts such as this must be captured and trained in game

Does this include mounts obtained through the feats like the Oracle's Bonded Mount? This doesn't refer to worgs in particular, but are there limits on what is or isn't allowed through that feat, provided the rider and mount are of appropriate size, and of course the mount isn't something ridiculous like a mammoth or some other overpowered creature?

A Medium oracle can select a camel or a horse. A Small oracle can select a pony or wolf, but can also select a boar or a dog if she is at least 4th level.

It would be awesome if we could make a worg domestication center

This is a bit of a side topic, but I'll go ahead and bring it up in this thread anyway, since it seems so similar.
I've heard something to the effect of "exotic mounts not being able to be ridden at level 4 Beast rider"(Cavalier archetype). I've been meaning to get a ruling on whether or not that's the case, since I haven't seen any like discussion elsewhere on the forums. The subject is a critical point for about 3 or 4 PCs, currently active in-game, that have levels in Beast rider(Cavalier). From what I understand, Great Cats(Lion, Tiger) are the only creatures that are Large at 4th level, and therefore possibly the only ones that can be ridden before level 7. The others are Medium sized at level 4.
That being said, the question is how would the GMs of this campaign rule in this scenario?1. No exotic mount can be ridden at level 4 Beast rider.
2. Only specified exotic mounts can be ridden at level 4 Beast rider. (Lions, Tigers, or some other type/s only)
3. All exotic mounts can be ridden at level 4 Beast rider. (despite size technicality, or with some understanding to be revealed in a future addressing of what could be Paizo errata) For existing opinions and discussion on the matter, I've provided a link to the following thread...Beast Rider Cavalier and 4th Level Mount Choices.link

I think other GM's ruled that to get said mounts you have to actually find and capture them in the wild, you don't get to say "lvl 4, *poof* I have a lion mount"
I for one am okay if you catch a lion you would be allowed to make it your companion.

Actually, myself, I think that if something is a class feature, you shouldnt have to depend or luck needed to find the needed creature. Nor shoukd you be forced to take ranks in skills needed to train animals. The idea is that at a certain lvl in a class, your training allows you to send out a call to certain creatures, and one will show up and be your buddy. Same way as rangers dont actually have to go looking for a new wolf every time their wolf dies (kaelmourn)

As for what you can ride. Option 2 applies. You can ride anything listed. BUT I do think that the cats and such are actually (somehow) medium at lvl 4.
