(Moving thread)
The prep work for Del was minor he seemed to stroll about the different shops just looking at the items. Never buying anything of note. He spent little time putting together his belongings as he wore what he owned. This land exploration was going to be dull, tiresome and perhaps dare he say it
"Boring...that is all the desert amounts to... boring saaaaannndd."
He kicks up a puff of dusty sand as he strolls the market area. However orders being orders Del knows he must obey if his aspirations are to bear fruit...
They would hunt for a while near the capital before the party leaves for the desert. Perhaps the halfling would get to stretch his legs and ease into some application of force...
"A raccoon... seriously? We are going to kill a raccoon? Ugh...."
The ninja runs towards the beast smaller than even himself and watches the thing snap at him. laughing the small ninja throws two ninja stars. One connects as the other falls short. The direct hit of the one sends the raccoon into painful cries and jerking motions. While not a death blow it has obviously struck true and leveled great pain to the small thing.
An arrow zips by into the raccoon's head ending its misery. as Del looks over he sighs.
"Nice shot horse man..."
he fakes a smile and then mumbling to himself says,
"Why did it have to be the jerk with the horse..."

Ahmed watched the little man as he searched for tracks of something to hunt and allowed himself to peruse him without bias...an odd creature to be sure but he had seen halflings before. Rumor has it that this one angered the Ramorhaz that currently rages through the country side, Ahmed found a tiny bit of respect for a creature that could escape something like the Remorhaz as readily as the story says.
Tracks of a pack or herd...this was promising. Ahmed felt himself smiling beneath his turban and the blood in his veins quick pace a bit as they moved to follow the tracks...nothing...the trail went cold.
Ahmed was mildly disappointed but finally got a chance to hunt when the halfling spoke of finding something. His bow ready he followed the small creature and readied himself to face...a raccoon. He almost laughed then and there but didn't want to upset the one who was actually capable of tracking such creatures. Ahmed watched as the dark one walked forward and attempted to pick up the raccoon for one reason or another and suffered a bite that did no lasting damage for his troubles.
Then the hafling moved. Quick, was Ahmed's first thought as he watched the halfling move to the other side of the raccoon and threw two small stars in rapid succession. One of them sank home and Ahmed could see the creature was pretty much done for on the spot, however it was still alive and thrashing at the pain caused by the star hitting a rather vital part of anatomy...Ahmed found himself reflecting on the haflings ability to hit a vital spot within such quick movements and filed it away for further reference as he casually spured Ravi forward came abreast of the fight and loosed and arrow into the melee, his accuracy at doing so learned during his time with the militia. The arrow flew true and took the raccoon in the side of the head below the ear ending it's pain and movements.
The halfling turns and speaks and Ahmed finds himself questioning the sincerity.
"Thank you, " he replies while motioning with his bow "Quite admirable how you managed to hit a vital spot while on the move as you were" he motions with his bow to where the ninja star was embedded in the raccoon.
"My name is Ahmed Al'Asad, cavalier in service to the Sultan. May I have yours?" Ahmed purposely does not refer to him as a halfling as most people who speak the word have a tendency to drop a negative sounding connotation to the word.
