my efforts to make a potion to stimulate healing have taken an...odd turn when i thought to add human blood to the formula aperantly this stimulates an odd reaction with the other ingredients making the end potion cause the test subjected to vomit blood while simaltaniusly healing said blood loss this resulted in a large amount of cleanup for my current lab assistant and a deal with a local vampire coven for a supply of the potion this has turned out to be a lucrative experiment but not what my original goal was i will be testing a new formula with nightshade tomorrow
next day:i am now in need of new test subjects as i was unaware that nightshade was poisonous to human, elves, and gnomes i will be distilling the liquid for procuring new subjects and will be sending my assistant to get more i will tell him to attempt to find an orc or dwarf
the next next day:an orc ripped my assitants arm off and beat him to death with it i believe i will be moving on to a new city after these recent results

in my quest to find a potion to stimulate healing ive found a truly magnificent formula that causes a subject to grow exponentially aperantly when i add a small amount of powdered iron to a citrus base it produces an effect similar to the common spell enlarge person causing an unfortunate accident where a restrained subject broke free and killed 3 of my lab assistants before being immolated by the head alchemist. when asked i told them that another of the alchemists in training was responsible he was promptly killed and i was given his lab book where i found a formula for a potion to make a subject run faster i have copied said formula into my book and burned the original

I HAVE DONE IT i have found the formula for healing after years of work and hundreds of lives i have found it. It turns out it was quit simple all i needed was a distilled water base with citrus, granite, and protein added in so simple yet it took me so long to figure out such a simple formula. I didn't even figure it out on purpose some granite dust fell into my latest test and i decided to try it instead of starting over and it worked i retested the formula this morning on a refugee that was wounded and they healed this is excellent i will begin making them in Ernest

i have met another alchemist and we decided to continue on together when we made camp he confided in me that he became an alchemist to help defend and heal the weak and punish those who prey on them...needless to say i slit hit throat in his sleep. when i looked in his formula book however i found a nifty little potion he called "bombers eye" which will increase my perceptions to let me throw my bombs more accurately at greater distances i have copyed the formula and have decided to bury the book with its owner i believe i will mark his grave with the word "noble fool" he frankly deserved better

i have found a potent drug cocktail that will help artisans with there work helping them to focus there perceptions more on the work and tools while not hurting there perceptions of the outside world and best of all its non addictive i will be marketing it as a herbal energy drink to help with work as ive gauged its effects to last for an entire day. i have been taking it for the last week and ive made more poison and potions than i have in the last month although the puple rabit will not stop bothering me to "kill the children" as he puts it...may market as having some minor side effects
