Few days after Dorothy Perkins tries to kill the king of Valencia. Renen walks into the infirmary, bandaged in the places where Dorothy's arrows hit him. "Now then. That was some good shooting. Too bad you saved your good shooting for me and not for the wolves we met two weeks ago". He looked at Dorothy lying there, tied to the bed by the healers. "Sorry about all the ropes, but someone who tries to kill a god, must clearly have suicidal tendencies, and might need to be restrained." Walking up to the bed, Pantera flicks the ranger on the forehead. "Idiot. I couldn't fight at half power even though I knew he didnt want you dead. If I hit something vital, no amount of healing would have helped you. You are lucky he finds you interesting, even AFTER you sank 3 arrows into him."Renen pull back his partner. "Now then. As fun as that was, I am still not up to my full strength, and I want to see this story through to the end. As such, I dont want to get killed quite yet. I would appreciate a good excuse to keep you around, or at the very least an explanation." He rubs his shoulder. "This'll take a while to heal"

Perkins slowly opens her eyes to find herself be restrained by Renen's assistants on the bed inside the infirmary. She looks around and then, after hearing some feint noises that happened to be Renen's voice ringing in her ears, she retains her focus after being flicked on the head by Pantera. She blinks her eyes a few times rapidly before letting her gaze fall upon Renen. She leaned her head back after she realized she had failed and closer her eyes once again.
"I have failed to do what I thought was correct. Your way of treating your people disgusts me. What kind of ruler, no less god, acts as such? Sparing someone who failed their mission, treating fools and barbarians exactly as one would treat nobility, allowing someone to leave after they have been attacked by them. This was a fight to the death. One of us should be laying on the ground right now, dead."

Renen rolls his shoulder, testing just how well he can use it. Pantera bends down toward Perkins "Who are you to tell us what to do? Do you really want to die that much?"
Putting his hand on her shoulder, Renen put Pantera up, to stand near him. "Your problem, is that you try to judge us by the standards of other kings, or gods. When you are as old as us, you get bored of certain things. Currently I am bored of ordering people around and worshiping me. While I play the role of the king, because of the benefits it provides, that does not mean I have to act like all other kings out there.
The pair's eyes light up yellow, Renen gaining the same eyes Pantera always has. They speak in unison "I am the god of creation. I do not abide by the same rules as mortals or other gods. Do not think me weak, I have seen and done so much, that even the other gods would not be able to comprehend it. When I last punished someone for insolence a whole continent was burned to the ground. Would YOU have me behave as an ordinary king who punishes his servants for every mistake? You live because I think you useful and a potential asset. I'd rather not have to kill my assets.
As one of the healers walks by, Renen's eyes quickly return to normal again. His smile returns "I am so friendly, because I am afraid I wont be able to control myself. If I show my... more unpleasant side, I might stay that way for a while, and trust me, you'd rather have me being too nice than..." He smiles apologetically. "At any rate, heal up, and get ready to meet the others, they should be getting back shortly"

Dorothy was confused by Renen's words. They made some sense to her, but still made her mad as hell. She wanted to scream in anger, but held herself back, both due to weakness and perhaps self-control. She was about to express her opinion about what Renen said, but decided against it, closing her mouth shortly after, faking a deep breath. She then took a good look around her, taking in the room's details. Once Renen said his final words, confusion was once again visible on her face.
"Others? What do you plan to do with me? How can you trust me after what happened? Do you think that because you spared me I won't attempt to do it again if given the chance?"

Renen turns as he is leaving the room. "Trust you? I guess not... I vaguely remember something about an oath of loyalty, and saving your life. But I am tired of killing. I figured that this time around ill try saving people."
He turns to leave. "And for someone like you, I wondee whats worse..." he adds over his shoulder.

Dorothy tried to struggle in anger, fighting against the ropes and ties binding her to her bed. She used what was left of her strength to yell out in anger at Renen as he was leaving the room, gritting her teeth and looking around at the people who were keeping her restrained. "You cannot do this to me! You cannot deprave me as such! If you are not going to kill me then you will regret it!"
When Renen had just left the room, she calmed her body down, yet her final words were loud and filled with the anger that had overtaken her. "This is not over! Not by a longshot! I will regain what honor you stole from me!" And as she said that, her strength faded, forcing her to slip into sweet unconciousness.

Lector nonchalantly strolls through the castle ground even though he doesn't know a soul there. He waves to some guards who look at him suspiciously and they ignore him.
He spots a wounded warrior walking out of the infirmary and hears an angry woman screaming at him as he leaves. "I will regain what honor you stole from me!" A lovers quarrel perhaps? Lector thought to himself. None of this concerned him as he keeps walking looking for the kitchen.
The wounded warrior turns to Lector and asked "Who are you?" Lector "Good day sir. That looks like a nasty wound, perhaps it's too early to leave the infirmary." The warrior stares back at him, not amused by the reply. "I don't have time for some nameless noble" the warrior turns and walks away.

Dorothy kept her eyes closed, now haunted by nightmares of her failure, the voice of her father echoing in her head. "You are a failure. You do not deserve to be my daughter, nor my successor!" Those words of the past, coming from her father's mouth made her grit her teeth while sleeping, her hands grasping at the bedsheets of the infirmary's bed tightly. She shook her head from one side to the other violently, groaning as if she was in pain. A few minutes passed before she batted her eyes open and looked at the ceiling, taking a deep breath. Her open wide eyes were soon closed, as the cold sweat running down her face made them sting.
"What must I do...What must I do, father?" She said to herself as she stared at the ceiling, caring little about her current surroundings. "How can I serve such a king? I will make your wish come a reality father...Not like that. What must I do?" Her voice was filled with sadness, before she yelled out to seemingly nobody. "Tell me!" Though no answer was given to her. She then calmed down once more and just stared at the wall, blankly, a tear running down from her left eye down her face and on the bedsheets.
"I will find a way...I must. For my father wills it. Even if it means that a more worthy master I shall serve."
