I think that Effigy's fumble chart would be a perfectly reasonable compromise between both sides. Do others agree?
Edit: The first one, not the second one. Though admittedly, the second one is rather.... amusing.

I think fumble chart should stay, but I tend to agree that we should have it toned down somewhat. Death is already too easy to occur in my opinion. We already have plenty of early deaths. One GM especially plagued with bad luck and killed 5. Just saying (^__^)

I vote for the second one, nothing says exciting like your weapon turning into a bear.

after considering several possibilities (also from the previous posts) I'm not very fond of auto killed (such as auto-unconscious or auto-helpless) the more we have attacks (aka the stronger and experienced we are), the more likely we get auto killed, kinda horrifyingly and ironically comedic auto full damage or critically hitting your allies is also funny, kinda downplayed the confused condition well that's just me saying

Looking at it again, I'd still ask to change the one roll that involves unconsciousness. Change it to dazed or stunned if you like, but not unconsciousness.

The thing I see you ignoring in this concept is a party. I think most monsters if you are in a party will go after the conscious member if one is knocked out. Also if you are a squishy caster don't stand next to the raging barbarian. Yeah, honestly if this shit isn't common sense by now then I don't know if anyone here should be playing Pathfinder...

On the topic of fumbles, yeah we should vote.
On the topic of Hercules, he is a level 20 fighter level 20 barbarian as per Deities and Demigods. He has 55 strength without raging and 800 hit points. Just sayan.

Well this discussion is going off topic...
On more related notes, the voting seems to already be going down.
