So you get tricked and die and then are able to resurrect with all knowledge of it and attempt to gather nations to strike back against a clean assassination. Sorry but to be blunt I don't like that. What is the point of pvp then?

Oh well Clout ruled it, I can't do anything about it. Just remember you are stabilized at what -13 health? and your Eidolon was dismissed when you died. Also please allow access to your character sheet via mythweavers again.

Again the fleeing situation had nothing to do with this. I would agree that being bound and surrounded prevents one from fleeing. This was not a GM error resurrection. The current rule is that anyone with two hero points can cheat death, stabilized at 0 health. Renen is utilizing that rule. If we want to go on to clarify those cheating death rules then that is what we should focus our discussion on.

So essentially as long as we have hero points we're somewhat immortal right ?

As long as you have 2. But remwmber that you only get 20 of those in your characters life, and you cant stockpile them.

Yeh, but I meant by default. You can obviously spend feats on this. Then it would make sense for you to be rewarded for that.

Is there a limit on where this resurrection can happen like distance from where the death happened. Or could you just pop up on the other side of the world and make some take a months of travel to finish you off at which point you could get another hero point.

Well, in my case im not far, but they dont know that. In other cases, it will likely happen in a struggle over land or some such. If u go to another side of the world, they get to keep whatever you were fighting for.

I think what seems to be bothering everyone is the fact that his death was cheated days after the encounter occurred. For future reference, I think the rules should be made clear that if you do not use your hero points immediately after your death within that same encounter you are no longer able to use them after the encounter has been officially ended by the GMs. However, the GMs should be required to ask if the PC wishes to use his hero points to cheat death as the PC is about to die.

Oh but I did express my desire to do so. He ruled against it. Feeling his ruling was unfair, I went to Clout for a ruling. But Clout has some family concerns, and is very busy. So it took a while.

Well then if that was actually the case and Clout's finaling ruling allowed you to come back then I no problems with the situation in total.
