Johan looked up from the table he found himself sitting in and nodded a bit at the wizards words. "Well that's good to know at least... I guess we wait until the other chieftains arrive and we see where we go from there. It really isn't up to us at this point anyway. It's up to what Nise directs of us. I can't imagine she would dislike having another warrior at her disposal."

Steinholf takes it all in and can be seen closing his eyes lightly, perhaps in prayer. He watches all of them speak and drink. He nods with some and grunts noncommittally with others, sipping at his mead all the while. After Garrett speaks he finally moves to join the others at the table.
"Aye, we will hear your words Skoll, and we will decide from there. I will not give any insight into my thoughts on the matter but I can say I would not begrudge another sword arm fighting along side we warriors of Nise."

Garrett quietly drank from his flagon of mead, seeming at least somewhat pleased that they had listened to what he had to say. He grabs a leg of meat and starts to go to town on it, watching Skoll curiously, wanting to know more about this wolf man and his race of, apparently not, dead people. His staff he placed next to him, leaning against the table within arms reach. He crunched on the food quietly, savoring the veal and chicken.

Johan finally seemed to have calmed himself too and called one of the serving girls over with another plate of meat, bread and cheese. He took large helpings of everything in front of him and began to unceremoniously fill his stomach with the food. He was glad for the yearly moot because it was a time when he was able to eat to his hearts content without having to worry about hunting, preparing, and cooking the meals by himself so he always tried to head back to his mountain home a few pounds heavier than when he came.

Seeing his companions shrug off the melancholy that threatened to take hold of the gathering, Gerath smiled and took another drink from his mug to find it empty. Frowning he tries to figure out when that happened as he swore it was just filled, shrugging he holds the mug back out to a serving girl to have it refilled. This time as he brings the mug closer to himself he feels his leg and the bench he sits upon begin to get wet. Lifting the mug and looking under it he sees a rather quick stream of mead draining from a hole in the bottom of his mug that gets himself and Garrett wet. An expression of pure hatred and anger washes over Geraths face as he looks upon the serving girl who begins to back away with a snicker. "Now look here. You will not waste mead in this hall." he forcefully tells her while tossing his empty mug onto the table and begins searching for a new one. Looking to the group, "by the way, when does the hunt actually begin. I might want to slow down on my drinking if it isn't going to be to soon or there won't be anyone to watch Garrett here," he says with a big grin.

Johan's mood had improved slightly and he let himself laugh out loud at the spectacle in front of him with the serving girl and Gerath as he put away more food and drank more drink. He looks to the girl with a grin and in a more calm tone than Gerath showed he said.
"While it is amusing. He is of course right. Mead should not be wasted in this hall... Although I guess it depends on whether or not you consider that a waste of Mead" *He says laughing again at the wet pair from the Order. He turned back to Gerath at his last question.
"It should he happening soon. So I would keep drinking up. If you need to be sober to do your job then you are not doing it well" *He says with a grin as he chugs more from his mug.

"I'd drink to that, mountain born." He addresses Johan as, seeing as they came from the same terrain it seemed only fitting to give him such a name of acknowledgement. Shortly after though he puts his hand atop one of the devotes heads and ruffles her hair a bit and demanding another pitcher for the actual toast to Johan's words. The young'n gets a scowl of frustration from being treated like a kid again by this monster as she nods to him, but while walking away she 'accidentally' makes a step upon the Skolldir's tail. Quickly he barks out from the sudden pressure like a finger just got hit by a hammer while he flicked it back over to him. Growling darkly as he turned around.
"You LITTLE-!" Then all too suddenly did another adolescent place the pitcher in front of the Skolldir with a very very misleading smile. When he looked around to see the girl gone only to eye the kid who brought him what he requested, he hrmed quietly eying the youth and the drink. Last time they brought him a drink his tongue nearly got burned off... After a short while though from staring at the mug he then saw what looked to be a drowned beetle float to the top of the mead. Grunting deeper out he plucked it out and tossed it over his shoulder.
"Feeble attempt, cubs." He calls out quietly and finally toasts to Johan's words.

Johan smirks a bit at the title from the wolfman and raises his glass in a toast to him and laughs a little bit at how the devotees react towards him. He takes a long drink when Skoll does and refills his own mug from a pitcher near him while he struggles to get the devotees to bring him some more. Johan finds himself amused with the antics of the devotees and finds himself thinking about how lucky he is that none of them have ever had much of a reason to dislike him in the same manner.

Steinholf chuckles but at long last steps forward looking at all the devotees.
"Enough of the antics daughters of Nise, the next to pull a stunt will face the cane." the devotees pass him glares but all of them begrudgingly continue on the service without continued fuss. Steinholf takes the time to dissmiss all but the youngest devotees to their prayers leaving the lower level devotees to the serving.

Gerath turns to Sköll, "Sköll I can't help but notice that overly large sword you carry around. It appears to be made for someone or something much larger than yourself and even more so looks to be heavily battered. Did your kind learn the art of metal crafting and sword smithing or did you pilfer that from some large fallen foe of yours? I only ask because the crest upon the hilt would suggest that is your clan's symbol, you being a dog and all, which means either you affixed your own symbol to a sword from a fallen enemy or you in fact did craft that weapon. If you wish i could fix that blade up for you so the blade won't break anytime soon when it is needed."

Johan looks up as Steinhold speaks and finds himself a little disappointed with him scolding the devotees as he was enjoying their antics but all the same he understood they were being slightly disruptive. He looked over as Gerath addressed Skoll and then looked to the wolfman as he found he too was interested in hearing the origin of the blade. Even though he preferred a bow and arrow he was not unfamiliar with the ways of hand to hand combat and carried one of his own. Obviously not as massive as the one Skoll carried but one he trusted with his life.
"Aye, It's clear your race was one of warriors, but were you builders as well? I think we have a few people able to build things throughout the tribes but for the most part we take what we use from our fallen foes" *He said as he patted the longsword beside him to symbolize it was a prize from an enemy he had fought and killed.*

Skoll.. BLINKED rather dumbfounded after hearing Gerath's accusations and statements as he addressed his blade in question. Due to this the lupine creature bared his elongated lower canines to the paladin in a clear scowl before he slipped his sword to his side proudly and barked out.
"Ysmira's Axe! A crass set of assumptions for you to use, human!" He growls out before letting out a large hmph! "If you were to blurt these words out in front of anyone in my clan or the rest of my people they would have you put in the Pits with the Feral Ones to teach you some respect." Continues as he began to grind his teeth a bit in agitation for such things. Nevertheless he did hear a better worded quarry come from his respected fellow Johan before he closed his eyes and bowed his head. Biasedly answering Johan instead.
"If you must know. Yes. This sword did come from one of Skolldir's colossal enemies. In particular, this sword was claimed by my ancestor and patron of my clan Sønjakten the First. Legend tells that Sønjakten and his siblings met the last remaining opposition of Frost Giants who thought to reclaim the land they had lost from us within Eisenfjord. It is said that Sønjakten was so strong and powerful, he pulled their leader down to the ground, took his own blade off the giant's hand and ran it through the monster's heart in victory. Making sure the other Giants who remained that they lost this land and their reign over us many centuries ago. And it shall remain ours." He finished looking over the blade as he then ran over the insignia that pommeled his sword.
"Years later once Sønjakten and his brothers became old and wizened they forged their own clans separately. And obtained the assistance of a hermit of Gorum that lived at the very peek of Eisenfjord to craft their pack emblems on the swords of their fallen enemies." The Skolldir finished as he brushed the sword proudly, free of dust over the emblem. "So, to answer your question. I suppose we weren't known to be accomplished smiths. However, tanning and armor crafting were definitely our forte. Slaying giant monsters gave us plenty of time to make skins and armor out of the very creatures we slew." The wolf man grins darkly at this.

Johan smiles at the story and gives a nod of approval as he eats more of his meal.
"A truly fine story Skoll and it's good to see that the weapon you wield was well earned and that you are putting it to good use. A weapon such as that deserves to be used regularly to keep its bloodlust sated. Perhaps though it might be wise to have Gerath take a look at it and see if he can strengthen the blade for you. A sword that has seen as many battles as this one has, and promises to see many more should be well cared for as it would be a shame for it to fail you prematurely"
Johan looks at Gerath and gives him an approving nod for the offer he made to Skoll but adds to him, "I would just be careful that you did not accidentally insult our large friend again if you truly wish to offer your assistance. Although I'm sure the first slight can be forgiven? Aye Skoll?
