So far as yet there is no way of storing resources which you opt to take in lieu of the gold.
If the other crafting proposal(s) get passed and we do start having more crafters needing resources then it would make sense to be able to store up enough of the resources to keep them busy. (Game mechanics using x-amount of gold worth of resources in a day)
Say a Darkwood sawmill gives 300gp/week (which it does)... This wouldn't even keep 1 crafter busy for 1 day let alone the whole week which this amount of wood was supposed to be able to do. This is about 42gp/Day worth of Materials able to be used for the crafter.
Adamantine 500gp/week is 71gp/day...
If we had a way of storing resources up then it would keep crafters busy, or the amount of materials is worth more gp wise as raw materials and not just sold off.

ok guys by current rules you can take the money or use 50 pounds worth of material a week. i proposed that we should also be allowed to store 25 pounds a week for sales or crafting.

I propose that with the addition of a town on the same hex all resources be allowed to stored and accessed for later usage.

I think we should be allowed to store unused resources, since most of them do not deteriorate over time and the faction should report how much do they use and how much do they store, a little bit more work, but more realistic optional rule: the capital should have an automatic warehouse/stockpile, but new settlements should have them built first just saying
