This isn't a complaint but rather an observation that It looks like some of your abilities have more points put into them than they cost, meaning you would still have some more points to spend o.o Specifically looking at your at will spells. All of them are level 1 spells, thus being at will each would be 2 points each, but one is at 3 and the other 4. Was there a ruling on there I missed? Just curious really. For each additional one, you add that many to the RP cost. So the first one is 2. But the second one is 2+1 and the third one is 2+2. It would be impossible to make 4 because you can only have up to 3 of any one kind of thing. Incidentally, we have added alternative racial traits, following the pattern of some of Paizo's core races. (rp total preserved: under 10 as per GM ruling for this campaign's created races)
We considered these as core traits during the race building, so we are pleased to be able to make them available. We feel they follow the theme of the race while providing variety and diversity for interested players to explore.

I would like to join your faction , I haven't made a character yet, and i'm a somewhat experienced Pathfinder player. ( GM'ing IRL ) So instead of posting a character right away i'll ask what you guys would prefer first : barb(Viking) or inuit like ranger, bard (norsk-like drummer and war chanter), iceshard ( sorcerer ), PolarBear-Druid of the Taïga, or anything really... I'll work some concepts out. I`m just too thrilled by the whole realm based gaming and factions and clans. Ask-me if you want to know more. -Frédéric N.

Some ideas we'd love to see people expand on? Let's see... The race is largely designed around an Enlarge Person + Lead Blades (or Gravity Bow) combo, where combat is concerned. But we also give them Wisdom for role-playing purposes. Strength and Wisdom for stat bonuses are rare among Pathfinder races, so it's also partly an attempt to fill that gap. Their slow movement can be solved with mounts, or with the Barbarian or Monk fast movement. Rangers, Clerics and Druids are Wisdom casters, so those are three more classes that can be of use. Barbarians, Monks, Rangers, Clerics, and Druids would all be excellent classes for an Isling. Since Islings suffer Dex, the Monk's use of Wisdom to hit can be valuable, and particularly the Monk archetypes Sohei (for the mount and for weapon flurry) and Zen Archer. (Just imagine Enlarge and Gravity Bow on a composite bow with Wisdom to hit and Strength to damage, for example.) For Druids, Enlarge Person wouldn't work on Wild Shape (you'd need Enlarge Monster), so the focus would be more about the Animal Companion and the druid spells. Clerics are built for battle as well as for spells. Since Clerics get Cure spells anyway, it might work to take an alternate racial trait to replace the Islings' CLW-at-will--Damage Reduction or Fast Healing. Rangers, similarly, have Lead Blades and Gravity Bow on their spell list, so if you want to use melee AND bows, you could take Ranger to fill in whichever spell you don't have as your racial trait. Other classes can also work with Islings. Fighters can work with almost any race, for example. Cavaliers start with a mount, if you want to solve the movement speed problem immediately. Even classes you wouldn't expect, such as Rogue, can be useful--my character uses the Rogue archetype Scout, for example, for Scout's Charge (charge = sneak attack). Any class archetypes that can take advantage of using the Wisdom stat in place of their normal stats would also be worth looking into, if you like a class that isn't mentioned here. And who knows! There are probably many amazing Isling character builds that we haven't thought of yet. Ranger would be good for kingdom exploration. I would love to see someone build the Zen Archer at some point. And another idea is to multiclass Cleric and Monk to get Crusader's Flurry (flurry with deity's weapon). Do feel free to toss ideas back and forth. We still have plenty of slots to fill in our kingdom management, so there's that aspect as well.

All great points, but I think you can do anything with it anyway, even with the -2dex you can still make a great solo rogue ( cure at will makes it a nice infiltration agent,.. okay the blue skin might give it away but still... ) As for the monk str wis is a good offset for the monk. druid cleric barb and monk all have a way to ofset the speed restriction too. anyhow I just like the ice-land ish theme,... it's in fashion these days with skyrim and all... -Fred.

The picture has probably the most blue that the skin can possibly be. In the description there's room for variation in skin color to be a lot more human-toned if needed. Looking forward to seeing your ideas!

Keep in mind that the GM ruled that the Ismark will gain XP only at a rate of 25% from normal. So when a character gets 1000xp a Ismark will get only 250xp.
