I am fairly new to pathfinder and when I chose my class i assumed the mystery spells of the oracles functioned like domain spells from clerics. After reading the discription a little better I started wondering about what they ment with 'spells given'. I was not sure if they ment spells per day or spells known. Since i dont really know I would like to ask you, does anyone here know how this works? The article about mystery's:Mystery: Each oracle draws upon a divine mystery to grant her spells and powers. This mystery also grants additional class skills and other special abilities. This mystery can represent a devotion to one ideal, prayers to deities that support the concept, or a natural calling to champion a cause. For example, an oracle with the waves mystery might have been born at sea and found a natural calling to worship the gods of the oceans, rivers, and lakes, be they benign or malevolent. Regardless of its source, the mystery manifests in a number of ways as the oracle gains levels. An oracle must pick one mystery upon taking her first level of oracle. Once made, this choice cannot be changed. At 2nd level, and every two levels thereafter, an oracle learns an additional spell derived from her mystery. These spells are in addition to the number of spells given on Table 2–6. They cannot be exchanged for different spells at higher levels. Here is the source, if anyone is interested.paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/advanced/baseClasses/oracle.html

Well, oracles are spontaneous casters. The mystery spells are auto learned by you at indicated levels. You can then cast them using appropriate spell slots.

They are not learned at those levels they must be taken as one of your known spells.

It says nothing about "adding to spell list". Just learning.

So basically Datenschi is saying that I Auto-add these spells to my list of spells known when I hit the designated level while Spade says that i can add them to my spells knows and by doing so i sacrifice another possible knowns spell.
I agree with Datenshi, it is the most litteral way of reading the rule. Thanks guys!
