(Sometime in the past)
Relyn woke up. The cavern was dark and moist as it was always during the early winter. He was bundled as he kept an eye out. His bow lay in front of him he felt safe under the confines of his woolly blanket. A random drow walked up and asked to switch positions, and instinctively he replied yes. Relyn walked down the cold corridors as it lead to the warmth from the entrance of the underground city. His eyes moving from side to side, he felt more comfortable and happy that he was back inside.
When he blinked hi eyes, there was nothing. He looked around manically as he tried to find out what just happened. It was Deja Vu as he walked around the rubbles and ruins. There was nothing left for what he thought he was looking for. He had no idea but he was always drawn to this dark area and why it gives him vivid hallucinations. His heart raced and he could feel the heat of his breath as it warmed his face under the mask. His red eyes scanned the area. He felt it was best to leave this place and never come back.
He left through the entrance and never turned back to look at it. For him, what was in the past must stay, for there should be no reasons for him to return anymore. He left through the forest. He felt the earth quake and rumble and the sound of marching men. He turned to look and saw a legion of men charging at the heavily defended gate, but when he blinked again it was all gone. There was only an entrance; nothing more.
He felt his face yet only touching the mask that was smooth at the touch. Darkness enshrouded his mind as he remembered who he is now. He is the dark lord; archer of the night; the one who watches in the shroud of darkness.
