After a day's work of crating, Claus prepped himself for some hunting. On the first day, he was accompanied by the mighty power ranger Kerzer. He was perhaps one of the ablest huntsman he's ever met. "Hey Kerzer, I've heard wolves abound aplenty, here. Ye think we can handle them?"

Kerzer felt extremely proud to be taking the craftsman Claus out to hunt this week. It was an honor that the dwarf thought so much of him as a huntsman to take him out and teach him the ways of the hunt. "Wolves can be nasty creatures" Kerzer began "but as long as we are smart and our horses behave we should be able to take them on easily enough." ~I really hope we don't run into wolves and it turns out like the first hunt I had when I join the Hawks...so many good men dead from that encounter~ Kerzer thought as he continued talking with Claus.

Claus listened intently to Kerzer's tragic tale. "I guess tis the reason why ye favored animals as enemies. Aye, despite what happened, I trust my life in yer hands. If we encounter wolves on our hunt. I shall take yer story to heart and run like a deer. Ho, ho, ho."

"It definitely factors in as to while they are my favored enemy to fight" Kerzer said as he hopped out of his horses saddle and got down to the ground checking some tracks "looks like we have some wolves close by, not more than an hour or so off actually. You want to go after them, I would say there are between 4 and 6 of these buggers."

"Let's be off to get some wolf heads and set 'em up in me room as trophies. Aah, I've almost ferget this feeling - the exhilaration of battle."

"Yes let us be off" Kerzer said as he hopped back onto his horse and set to following the tracks. "So, when was the last time you had the feeling of an exhilarating battle Claus? Must have been a while ago, you seem to look a bit rusty to me" as Kerzer said this he laughed a little bit and waited to here the dwarfs tales.

"Aye, I have been too busy drawing plans. I actually have years of me life spent just drawing plans for lots of different kinds of stuff. I'll be happy to share 'em to ye, if ye'd be interested. Ho, ho, ho. Kerzer, let's stop fer a second." Claus inscribed magical runes on he ranger's bow, repeating the strange ritual multiple times. "There, you'll see that yer weapon would work like a masterwork weapon."

Hey Ive been wondering around here all morning looken for ye..just woke up a little late tis all..was a bit hung over from the previous night. I had to drink the whole barrel of that ale just to get a good feel of it. besides its boring being cooped up at the forge all day. Might as well slay something or search for a worthy doom out here in the woods. Ahh You must be Kerzer the ranger. Ive heard tales of you being a great scout of the hawks. Hmm..I be a new addition to them as well. Taken in by Forge master Claus being kindly to his brother dwarf. I be watchen his back and the such. I even got another job from the hawks. They gave me a job as keeper of the Book of Grudges and Bounties. Hehe..easy job...Never realized a clan of humans would be so keen on laws and the such. hmm..maybe they got some stone sense in them. That be good on em. Well what ever it is I get beer money every night. Plus that one pub serves good grub for the hawks free of charge..Ive eaten my fill of boar huhu a plunty. yep yep Gortrex pats his stomach. Speaking of food..lets kill something..

Claus approached Gortrex. He did the same strange ritual, endowing his greataxe with a forgemaster's blessing. "Ye are more than welcome me brudder to hunt and kill. If we get lucky, we can bring home enough to start another feast. We managed to kill a couple of wolves and a deer. With ye around, we could handle more."

Kerzer saw the new dwarf approach, Gortrix was his name, "Nice to meet you sir, I assume you are planning to join in on our hunts this fine day?" Kerzer asked of Gortrix as he started to survey the ground for more tracks. "Because if so you are definitely in luck, looks like we have a boar in the area. That would definitely make good eating. They are nasty ferocious little buggers tho so watch um, just when you think they are going down they come back around for round 2."

"Aye, I definitely bet all me marbles in the right group. I love me life - make weapons and armor, hunt, party. A good way to while away the time while not losing me goal of building wonderful creations."
Claus looked at his brudder and the boar. That's a pretty large boar. Ye need help dragging that back to town me brudder?"

"The horse should be able to help us out with dragging it back to town, especially since it isn't far from here" Kerzer said to the two Dwarves as he bent down and started to skin and clean the boar off. "You have to do these things quickly or else the meat can be spoiled out in the sun" Kerzer said as he stripped the skin from the boar and the proceeded to use his rope to hang the boar from a tree limb as he got ready to gut it.

Claus watched the lanky ranger expertly handle skinning the boar and gutting it. He smirked when he saw Gortrex's mouth salivating while watching the whole ordeal. "Ho Kerzer, ye'd best hurry. I bet my beard Gortrex wont wait fer someone to roast the boar. He seems ready to pounce and eat the whole pig raw."

Kerzer finished up the skinning and gutting of the boar and set it up next to the deer they had got earlier on the ground. "Let us get out of this area quickly please, I am sure that this smell from the guts doesn't appeal to either of you, but to the dangerous wildlife it does appeal to and they will be here within the hour most likely. Let us create something to drag these things along behind the horse so that we can make good pace."
