A few days had passed since the moot had come to an official close and there was much to do in Nisengard to prepare for the things to come. The tribes were working with a renewed purpose and a sense of direction that they had not known in decades. It was still unsure what Nise actually wanted of them all but it was clear that they were to become as one again and act as a single tribe in her name, even despite their differences. Each tribe had it's own strengths and weaknesses which were supplemented by the other tribes now coming together.
Johan was out on his own doing his normal scouting as that was his particular strength and while he was glad to have peace again it was still going to take him a little bit of time to get used to the idea of working with others again. Not because he didn't want to but because honestly he knew the land better than most and others would only slow him down. He was up at the highest point he could climb to above Nisengard and perched on the wall. In the distance he heard the cawing of a raven. After a few seconds of listening for the caw again he was able to pinpoint the direction it had come from. Having not seen a lot of action in recent days he decided to hone his skills a bit with the small target and he pulled his bow out, putting the raven in his sights and leading it along until he let the arrow he had knocked fly from the bow.
The arrow flew true and the raven fell from the sky not far from Johan with an arrow straight through its neck. As Johan went to collect his prize to cook up for his dinner while he was on the wall he saw that it had a note attached to it. He picked up the raven and untied the note reading it silently to himself and a small chuckled escaped his lips as he read. Knowing the others would want to hear about this he made his way back to the city to find and gather the chieftains and the Order. Ones all of them were there he showed them the fallen raven acting as a messenger and read the note to them.
"To whom it may concern,
I, propose a temporary peace treaty between lands. That is all I shall say as of this moment. I will explain in further detail if you do wish to know more about it, but until then, I shall be traveling between lands, in hopes to bring good tidings to each other. Should we meet in person, I will explain in person. Until then, I only ask that you hear me out. Again, it is a proposition for peace between the lands, but I won't force any country that wishes to not play a part in it, and it will certainly benefit all who join. All I ask is that you consider it.
Thank you, and until next time,
Your friend,
Chorovis Titanis."
Once Johan was finished he rerolled the note up and looked to the others. "I know not if that message was meant for us but it seemed like a general call between the lands. To me it seems a sign that those near us are showing weakness. Perhaps this is why Nise has called us back together. What do you all think?"
Johan leaned against a wall, looking at them all to see their reaction to the strange note.
