Ewanko was hesitant at first, but her natural curiosity about things arcane gave her enough courage to peek at their Vice commander's attempt to craft a wondrous item. She was careful not to disturb him while he was performing the initial preparation. After he was done, it seemed the vice commander knew he was not alone. "Who is there?" Aegis asked without looking back.
"My apologies Vice commander. I couldn't help but want to learn how to make such amazing magical devices. Forgive my intrusion."

Sona looks over as aegis sits on a silk rug and cant help but point at the man "guy just feels it out magical impulses and all then slams it into an object with some dead languages if only i had a taste of magical gift it make everything easier all I got is the best tools for the job and the specialization to get it all cut into shape" pulls out her kit it consists mainly of cutting tools drills and casts for the trickier bits "see with a fire arm there isn't too much to the temper there is a lot of give the steel doesn't need to be folded it metals don't need folding they just need shaping and of course gunpowder which is surprisingly easy to make.

Claus is happy to see a lot of his comrades crafting mundane and magical items alike. "Linium will be happy. Ho, ho, ho."
The only time he's been this happy was when he saw the look in Grr's face when he gave him the adamantine agile breastplate. One would definitely agree that it should have been a called a boobplate instead because the armor is clearly designed for a woman. "Ho, ho, ho. This should serve as a lesson - never mess with yer armorer. Ye surely don't want to be in me naughty list."

"Ah my favorite quartermasters!" belial exclaims, "might I fancy you with a tall request?..." he continues "A finely crafted suit of full platemail with that extremely durable adamantine ore and perhaps some wicked spikes jutting from it; Now that is some armor I can dream about wearing."

The errand-boy handed the letter to Ewanko read the request from their hellboy wannabe tank par excellence. "Hmm, interesting. An adamantine spiked fullplate armor. Another plea worthy of my crating skills." Ewanko scribbled a reply and handed it to the errand-boy. "Consider it done."

" Sure come and watch. What I do is use the marks that the spirits find pleasing and use them to draw them in. It makes them more a part of the material world. Look at the mark under my hand. " He held his hand over the runes he was working on. " My Aura will make them more visible." Beneath his hand small creatures swarmed around the mark as they touched it the mark seemed to draw power from them. Looking at the creatures was like crossing ones eyes so just before it became unbearable for the others Aegis moved his hand.
" And Sona." A very dark look came over the vice commander. " They are not dead languages. I only wish they were. If you ever hear another creature using Alko you run. You run until you find me and then we kill it. "

Ewanko marvelled at the small creatures swarming around the mark. She also made a mental note about what the vice-commander said regarding creatures speaking in - did he mentioned Alko? - Another piece of esoteric language added to my list of things to research.
"Thank you for the offer Aegis. This will be vital in jumpstarting one of a multitude of researches I wish to conduct."

"Aye, the more there is of us, the merrier." Santa quipped. "Ho, ho, ho, I should say. And ye know what they say: There is strength in numbers." Claus hastily scribbled something in a little notebook.
He then faced Aegis. "I'd also like to learn how to make wondrous items that ye make. I might find a clue to help me make automatons."

Sona starts pouring the mythril chunks in the smelter "Mr Aegis I know I referred to them as a dead language but I didn't refer to it as such because "nothing" spoke it anymore. Also you know me better then that if I'm to test a cannon on a truly ornery beast as such you know I'll want you right there next to me to tell me exactly where I should put 15 lbs of scrap metal" Sona puts up a cheeky smile trying to keep Aegis more positive and away from darker thoughts

"Ho, ho, ho. I am happy to be with such able comrades. And should we indeed fall into such a dire strait, at least we have people like ye with a good sense of humor."

Automachines..bah..you know that is all well and good. And mind you it would be great claiming some of the old holds back home..Yea..but what do you think the future holds with that? eh? Whole lines of machine goloms crushing the enemies. Ol it be a site for any crafter, but what about the dwarf warrior. He would lose his job. By my beard....well as long as there is war there is dwarf axes.

"Ye need not worry me brudder. Those automachines aint not fer war. Ye are what we want fer war. They're for doing more fun stuff and making sure ye got the best top-of-the-line instruments of death during any bloody war. This I swear or I will be as clean shaven as a human baby's rump." winked Claus.
