Just a quick reminder of all the updates to Land searching...
Faction must pay 500gp for first 3 people searching and 250gp for each additional person. (No mounts, familiars, and pets don't count)
One person with Survival may lead a Land search each week. This was a carry over of Rangers only but stays as 1 person may only lead a Land search as long as they have a rank in Survival.
Declare that you are starting a Land search and roll a d100 (plus or minus) your survival
Land Search actions take days equal to the chart located on page 13 of the 1.3 rulebook.

These days are measured in full days starting when you entered the Hex
If you entered the hex on your first MP then you will be done with 1 MP remaining after the annotated time dictated by Terrain
If you entered the hex on your second MP then you will be done with 0 MP remaining after the annotated time dictated by Terrain
(MP are added to the chart for easy reference)
If you do not have enough MP left to cover the days allotted for a Land Search then the Land Search even though cleared will not be ready to start preparing for induction into the Faction until the following week, and any MP needed to finish are used at the start of the following week.
Once Cleared, all monsters gone, then any one(1) person in the party may roll their Knowledge Geography to survey the land.
This will be measured against the chart in the 1.3 book on page 27 with a d100 roll (Plus or Minus) Knowledge Geography
Now you may decide to purchase and prepare the land. Using the above table you then pay this additional cost and wait the allotted time for preparation before you may start collecting any income for the hex or doing any improvements to any resource or fortification which may have been found.
If you do not wish to purchase the land and prepare it for Faction right away then the leader of the party rolls a d4. This will be how many weeks you have to change your mind to purchase the land and it stays clear of any hostiles. In the case of a roll of 1, (1 week), the chance to purchase will expire that Friday when updates are done.
