Day Five's Campfire talk
Jynx could not get the smile off his face from todays events and he was in such good spirits he thought he would try to start a conversation with Ror'Nor to get a better understanding of him. Jynx sits down by their campfire as Ror'Nor was making the horse meat for dinner tonight and looks over at him and asks him "So Ror'nor, I have to admit you pretty much destoyed that horse today. Where did you learn those Axe skills?"
Jynx leans back against the downed tree log and crosses his ankles waiting for Ror'Nors reply to his question.

Ror'Nor would be standing across from the fire concentrating on making the food at hand. Such a brutal kill had brought joy to the therian like it always did when he showed his strength against such weak creatures. While in thought he heard the voice of his small human companion speak admitting to his brutal display of strength and asking him how he did it.
"I was taught how to use the axe by my zedjyl and he taught me how to control when my anger pours out allowing me to use it in combat. " He would speak briefly before attending back to the cooking horse meat. He would remain in his standing position slowly turning the cooking horse meat and would stare into the fire as if in deeper thought.

With a smile on his face he realized that Ror'Nor is not a very outgoing person and it may take a bit of work to get him to open up out of his shell when it comes to conversation. "All in due time" thought Jynx to himself. "Well Ror'Nor I'm sure we have a long day tomorrow on the hunt and after all that time gutting and skinning that horse with you I'm exhausted. I think I'm going to call it a early night and you can take first watch. Wake me when it's my turn." With that Jynx grabs his blanket and covers himself up, his hand resting very near his great axe. "There is trusting people, then there is being stupid. And I'm not stupid" thought Jynx to himself.

Ror'Nor would nod in agreement to the human saying that he was exhausted after searching hours before finding the horse. Ror'Nor would seem to not be that tired himself due to his strong endurance in comparison to the small human boy with him. He would stay up for four hours on guard duty before he would wake up the Jynx for his turn before laying down against a tree and going to get some sleep. His grip around his greataxe would remain even in his sleep.

Jynx was awaken by the Giant Therian and only barely stopped himself from swinging his greataxe at the beast of a thing. He took his turn on watch with nothing notable happening and broke camp for the next days hunt.
Day 6 Jynx left his head hang low as Him and Ror'Nor went back to camp. His eyes shifted towards Ror'Nor with a slight shame in them. "Sorry my friend. I just couldn't seem to find any tracks today for us. It's as if your horse chopping has scared all the other creatures away from us. Lets make camp and have our left overs for dinner tonight." He started up the campfire with his flint and steel.

Ror'Nor's day went by being very uneventful and displeasing as the human managed to not find something for them to hunt and Ror'Nor would recall the prey he had hunted before hand without the human. He would calm himself and remind himself that not everyday brought upon luck in the hunt. He would glance back at the human as spoke potentially suggesting that his brutal display of strength scared of all the animals. He seem inwardly pleased with scaring off the prey by that display and took it in a good light. Ror'Nor would help with setting camp up and hope they would find suitable prey tomorrow.

Jynx ever the determinded human that he was decided that he would keep probing Ror'Nor till he finally decided to come out of his shell and have a two way conversation. "Ror'nor I've been thinking, since we didn't find anything today, that maybe I could scout a little forward of you and see if I can catch prety with out you stomping around so close behind me scaring them off?" Jynx said as they sat around the campfire eating the left over wolf he had and the let over horse from the night before. Jynx decided that either a conversation of strategy or battle would bring forth words out of this walking statue of a man.

Ror'Nor would glance up at the Jynx as he seemed to wish to apply a strategy into there hunting. He would just nod in response as he would be eating his leftovers. He would mentally agree that his armor did make him quite loud and that the small human boy could sneak around much easier and could alert of him of prey. He would seem to focus on his food seemingly leaving the converstation at that as he didn't see any more point in having it after they agreed on a plan already.

With a sigh of surrender Jynx shakes his head and stands up whiping his hands off on his pants. "Wel Ror'Nor I'll take first watch you get some sleep. I'll wake you up when it's your turn." At that Jynx grabs his bow in his hands and straps his Greataxe on his back as he heads out to go do a perimiter sweep. He immediately disappears into the shadows of the trees as if he just melted into the foilage and became extremely difficult to be followed. His soft leather boots making not a sound as he climbed up into a tree to keep watch of the surrounder campfire. Always watching, always waiting for something to come up.

Ror'Nor would look back up at Jynx as he would stand up and then begin to speak. Ror'Nor would still be slightly uneasy with letting him take first watch as in having anyone to watch him would make him quite uneasy but he would deal with it. Ror'Nor would finish eating his meal before going to lay against a tree as he would begin to fall asleep with greataxe in his left hand. He would be surprised at how little noise the human could make with that leather on before he would go into a light sleep.

Day 7 Ror'Nor was nearly about to start slamming his axe into the nearest tree barely containing how the day went. First they went out hunting and they found tracks of something large and this made Ror'Nor thirsty for blood and then they stumble across the mighty prey. Ror'Nor felt that maybe they could take on one troll but they stumbled across a small pack of four of the mighty creatures. Ror'Nor anger came to him to kill them but he knew himself to weak to take them all on. They decided to run like cowards which even angered him further. As they were running they found three eagles circling them and he drawn his greataxe ready to kill the first to come close to him. That never happened. The human took his bow out and shoot a bird down immediately before doing the same to another. The final one came flying down trying to harm the human doing minimal damage before the Jynx killed the f**k out of it. Ror'Nor didn't even get to hit one bird and this built up his anger as he sat down against a tree near there campfire looking at the human almost ready to take his anger out on him due to today's action.

Jynx sat on the downed log of their new camnpfire. A huge smile spread across his face as he went thorugh the days events of their parties hunting. His mind a whirl of blood and feathers he almost didn't notice the hateful look coming from across the camp....Almost didn't notice it. "I need to calm this situation down before this escalates out of control.." Jynx thought to himself. "So Ror'Nor I want to thank you for having my back against those eagles. I don't think I would have been able to handle them with such confidence if I didn't have you covering my back." Jynx moves closer to the fire and tosses his eagle meat into the pot for them to cook some stew.

Ror'Nor visible relaxed slightly when Jynx spoke out to him and he would agree that his archery performed so well because he had back-up capable of helping him if he was overwhelmed by the eagles. Ror'Nor still looked ready to strangle the little human boy but he didn't look ready to cleave him in half anymore as he would lay against the tree relaxing and closing his eyes before speaking "We need to obtain me a bow." his voice was getting across that they were going to do that. He would look at the campfire as if dwelling upon some deeper thoughts and his face would show brief sadness as the anger seemed to fade away as if it was nothing.

Jynx now happy that he wasn't the object of Ror'Nor's anger anymore visibly relaxes. "I couldn't agree more about getting you a bow. How about we make our way back to the village and get you a bow?" Jynce couldn't help but think that was a great idea for them to both be armed with range weapons. As their meal cooks he keeps his eyes out of the fire to make sure he doesn't lose his night vision and his thought float back to the trolls they strategicially moved in the opposite direction from and how they would need to get them dealt with. "Hey Ror'nor, Do you think we should meet up with some reenforcements to take care of that troll problem we noticed back there?"

Ror'Nor would look up at the Jynx as if being broken from extremely deep thought and would take some time to respond with a simple nod. Ror'Nor face would go back to its rigid stoic look as he would stare at the fire as if trying to beat it in a starting contest. He would hear the Jynx speaking again and would slowly look up as he would think about the trolls and the potential threat they posed to the village and anyone traveling about the area. He would simply nod in response before going back to the staring match with the fire.
