This doesnt apply mostly because while I am technically unaided, I am already stable. And the only question is whether I get full rest. At any rate, I will only get the 1 day this week, so it shouldnt be too broken.

That actually does apply because it states that if you are stable it applies.

Well, the 2nd post is from 3.5 which has things like negative hp of -10 is death, so that doesnt apply. While the 1st post says 1 per level per 8 hours. A 24 hour period has 3 8 hour segments. But I think complete rest rule makes the most sense.

www.d20pfsrd.com/gamemastering/combat#TOC-Stable-Characters-and-RecoveryRecovering without Help A severely wounded character left alone usually dies. He has a small chance of recovering on his own. Treat such characters as those attempting to recover with help, but every failed Constitution check to regain consciousness results in the loss of 1 hit point. An unaided character does not recover hit points naturally. Once conscious, the character can make a DC 10 Constitution check once per day, after resting for 8 hours, to begin recovering hit points naturally. The character takes a penalty on this roll equal to his negative hit point total. Failing this check causes the character to lose 1 hit point, but this does not cause the character to become unconscious. Once a character makes this check, he continues to heal naturally and is no longer in danger of losing hit points naturally.

Forgive me but where does it say that it's assumed to have made all the checks? The cheat death hero point OP thing only allows you to cheat death from the encounter? Do you or don't you need to make con rolls

To become stable the GM assumes you have made your checks. Otherwise, someone with CON like mine (16) would have a DC of 10+15= 25 and a bonus on the roll of 3. This means "cheat death" is really a "roll to see if you get the 5% chance you need to survive"

That has nothing to do with gaining hp back...And wasn't it mentioned that you cheat death but stay at your negative HP?

Basically if you have friends nearby they can heal you up but by yourself your kinda screwed.

It doesnt mean I NEVER heal. If I am not losing HP, and I am alive, by default I am capable of healing.

No..It states you need to make con checks... "An unaided character does not recover hit points naturally. An unaided character does not recover hit points naturally.
You don't heal unless you make a check to become conscious then make a DC (Base 10 + Negative HP) to begin healing naturally.

Well, regardless. It has been ruled by clout as such. He is either assuming that you make ALL the checks, or he house ruled that you regen HP regardless.
The point being that "you survive". Not you survive to die later.

No he most likely isn't 100% aware of what we pointed out and we will wait to see how he regards it. It defiantly balances out the revive feature of hero points and I doubt Pazio would publish the ability to revive yourself at level 2.
