I believe it only makes sense that roaming monsters not move into terrains they wouldn't normally move into. This should stop the occasional rock climbing triceratops and dessert trekking Treant. The terrains where creatures are normally found are included in the monster descriptions. This is a fairly simple proposal, when the GM rolls a number where the creature would move into unnatural Terrain it simply doesn't move that day. Post your feedback below everybody, I'm open for suggestions.

Okay I think this should be easy enough to do, currently monsters are restricted by nation hexes and hexes occupied by players.

i would like to add the idea that a monster in an odd environment should move to a place more suited to them rather then rolling direction. so the dessert trent would instead start heading towards the nearest Forrest.

well the treant isn't gonna spawn in the desert but currently might be in say the ocean. Ya we can take it back to the forest.
