Day 1:
I'm still not sure why I accepted this mission the journey alone is difficult and arduous with three more necks to watch for would make the journey nine times more difficult for me...Thankfully the Sun has graced us with stealth and allowed us to bypass some "creatures" without harm.
Sleep has not been easy, Asad snores much like that of an old dog, and this paladin mumbles all night long. I miss the Asahara and her warm breeze. Time cannot pass any slower, I pray for patience and for the Sun to continue to smile on us.

Day 1: The journey has mostly been very long and nerve racking.
Luckily, my benefactor has managed to provide my party with a man who can guide us to the Sultanate at a faster pace making the journey much quicker in terms of us arriving in the city, however I'm still not sure if I will be able to trust him to give me the position once I get there.
Who simply hands a mercenary a Sultanate?
Regardless of the answers to these question I will need to be prepared to act if things possibly go wrong. So far though, the man sent by my benefactor, although a bit pompous, seems to be trustworthy enough. The constant complaining of my non-existent snoring though, could be something we could do without...

Day 7:
The past few days have been eventful to say the least. It's a shame I am not one for words for our small group has encountered some truly wondrous creatures over the past week. From a group of giants of the frost variety and unless my eyes deceived me trolls. Oddly all those things quite literally dwarf the most recent set of creatures we fled from, such remarkably graceful creatures, I believe in the common tongue they are called brachiosaur. That night my dreams were graced with a pegasus, I do not know what it means, but it was magnificent.
At this pace I believe we will enter Yesad by the end of next week, and with that I will finally be home. Strangely I do not feel happy about this, something is clouding my thoughts. The moon and the sun have given me a feeling of dread I feel that something dreadful awaits our merry band of gentlemen.
Hopefully this journey will end soon, I miss her long days and warm breeze.

Day 7: With our party barely managing to stumble past numerous monsters and wild beasts of great ferocity and strength I have begun to grow very nervous of what the next step might bring. More dinosaurs? Perhaps another frost giant? Or something worse...? The cold of the lands outside of the desert have continued to take their toll on me since my arrival to these new lands. Although I continue to hide my difficulties from the rest of my party, if we cannot reach the Asahara soon I feel that might no longer be the case.
Despite the assault of these terrible troubles on our journey, I feel more inclined then ever to reach the Yesad as soon as possible. If not to claim my throne as Sultan, at least to relax for some time in a warm and comfortable city.
Thankfully, our guide Mingo has informed me of a new trail he recently became aware of that will be taking us within the city before the end of next week, well above our original arrival time estimate of double that time.
Hopefully, we will not encounter any further issues as we continue our journey, but as the day is warm and the night is cold it seems that it is almost inevitable that this will not be the case...

I know not what day it is. All I know is that the journey back has been eventful to say the least. Since the last I wrote, I fled from a giant scorpion, and a pack of tengu rogues. Upon entering the mountains I ran across a patrol of two orcs, and decided to try my best to rid them. Unfortunately I was only able to wound one of them before being forced to flee from taking near fatal damage.
From that point on time seemed to roll by so slowly as I moved through the mountains towards the Yesad. Upon entering the nation I was lucky to witness the flight of four giant eagles before finally making it home to the capitol.
Unfortunately the city has changed in my absence and an Emir has gone on a rampage doing terrible things to the cities luckily he has fallen, and this nation is resilient and will rebuild and become stronger from it.
It is good to be home, I have missed the long warm days.
