Hi Senate,
First off I'd like to say hello, I stand before you all a meager druid. Many of you won't recognize me, my name is Sentar Woodborn. I have dreams like any of you, one day I wish to become a famous crafter making some of the most powerful items in Calidor. Before you all fight for my presence in your cities, I wish to create a grove in the Black Forest. People would have to travel from all across the realm for my services. In essence I would be a quest giver.
This solitary life poses some slight issues for me. Looking at the Land Search encounters not many of them would be possible for me to do on my own. To this effect I would propose that there be a new minor encounter table be set up for players to search and self collect raw materials. These encounters would have both the intended outcomes such as single or small groups of animals but also unexpected outcomes such as a small band of Gnolls.
Regards, Sentar

Could you give us some more details so we know what we're looking at exactly? How will this be different from land searches?

Well unlike a Land Search it would not require a ranger but maybe some sort of survival or other skill check. This would be different than a Land Search because it would create encounters that could be done by a single person. Right now if I used up 6 of my 7 days for the week there is nothing productive I could do for the the 7th this is one proposition, but it's also something for someone to do if they aren't currently in a party.

Hunting Parties An adventure party may go on a hunt in exchange for one of their offensive land action. Hunting parties must have at least one member with the survival skill as a class skill in order to go on a hunt. All characters in the group must make stealth checks before the encounter to determine the awareness of creatures involved.
Hunt Encounter Chart (Standard) 01-30 Nothing 31-40 Random Encounter 41-42 Raccoon 43-50 Deer 51-55 Moose 56-60 Bison 61-65 Boar 66-70 Fox 71-75 Horse 76-77 Elephant 77-85 Wolf 86-87 Hyena 88-89 Leopard 90-95 Reroll, Results are made Dire/Giant 96-00 Reroll, Results are made Pack/Herd
